1. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR 4206 290 WARNING SHUT POWER OFF AT FUSE OR CIRCUIT BREAKER AVERTISSEMENT COUPER LE COURANT AU NIVEAU DES FUSIBLES OU DU DISJONCTEUR ASSEMBLING THE FIXTURE Fig 2 Fig 1 Junction Box 1 Shut off the power at the circuit breaker and remove the old j Ceili ng fixture from ceiling including the old crossbar A 2 Carefully unpack the new fixture and lay all the parts on a clear surface 3 Attach the loop J to the column K by turning it clock wise Set A A 012 until tight Crossbar 4 Attach the column K to the fixture body M by turning it clock Ground screw wise until tight Junction box 5 Place the tube L over the socket of the fixture body M screws 2 Y l HANGING THE FIXTURE Fig 1 Sa G 6 Thread the nipple C into the loop F until snug 3 f 7 Thread the other end of the nipple C with the loop attached into Cha in HCH3072 290 j the crossbar D until snug Gauge 4 2mm Dia 72 M CHAIN 8 Place lock washer B over end of nipple protruding through Gp H crossbar and thread hex nut A onto nipple until tight XA 9 Take this crossbar assembly and mount to ceiling junction box oAo J with junction box screws E Size 8 32 1 L Tighten screws securely with screwdriver 10 Using proper chain pliers to open one end link of the chain Fig 2 provided and connect to the fixture loop J then close the link 11 By measuring determine correct numb2. er of links needed for proper hanging height Using proper chain pliers disconnect and discard remaining chain T K 12 Lace the fixture wires through the chain 13 Slip loop collar H and canopy G over the chain 14 Open the other end link of the chain and hang the fixture on the loop at the ceiling Close the link 15 Feed the fixture wires through the loop F and nipple C and Ni pull until tight a CONNECTING THE WIRES Fig 3 16 Connect the electrical wire as shown in figure 3 making sure L L M that all wire connectors are secured If your outlet has a ground wire green or bare copper connect the fixtures ground wire to it If the junction box has no ground wire attach the bare copper fixture wire to the green ground screw Screw 8 32 3 8 L on the crossbar Tuck the wire connections neatly into the ceiling JNFN junction box C COMPLETING THE INSTALLATION Fig 2 17 Install the light bulbs not included in accordance with the fixture s specifications DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM Candle UN I Yh Sleeve CCV21074T 290 l L WATTAGE RATING NE PAS DEPASSER LA CHAIN HUNG FIXTURE INSTRUCTION PUISSANCE NOMINALE MAXIMALE Notice It is important to use proper chain pliers not 18 Raise the canopy G all the way to the ceiling then raise the included To OPEN and CLOSE the chain included with this loop collar H and thread into ceiling loop protruding through fixture Do not open them with other tools tha
