Ledgestone Firepit Installation Instructions 1 Lay out the first course interlocking the blocks making sure that it is level SC 2 Place the second and third layers on top of the first keeping the joints staggered Joints are staggered SAND 3 Empty the sand inside the firepit spreading it evenly 4 Insert the steel ring on top of the sand and pressing down all the way The top of the ring will be higher than the top of the blocks 5 Place the caps around the top of the firepit blocks They may need to be shimmed to ensure a level surface 6 To further secure the caps apply a bead of masonry adhesive optional between the caps and blocks
