Red Wines 15 18 C 59 64 4 F Dry White Wines 9 14 C 48 2 57 2 F Sparkling Wines 5 8C 41 46 4 F These temperatures may vary slightly depending on whether or not the interior light is ON or OFF and whether the bottles are located on the upper middle or lower section The Controls of Your Appliance NOTE There are two control panels each operating a separate zone Each zone can be set independently but the procedure is the same for both as described below The appliance should be placed where the ambient temperature is between 16 35 C 61 95 F If the ambient temperature is above or below this range the performance of the unit may be affected For example placing your unit in extremely cold or hot conditions may cause interior temperatures to fluctuate me ig C Al SET SET LIGHT LOCK ON OFF D ON OFF Power To turn the appliance on or off press the ON OFF button for 3 seconds Setting the temperature control Each cooling compartment of the appliance left and right is independently controlled To set the temperature 1 Connect the power cord to a properly grounded outlet In the event of a power interruption all previous temperature settings are automatically erased and each compartment will default to a preset temperature of 12 C 53 6 F 2 Set the desired cooling temperature by pressing the corresponding buttons or to raise or lower the set temperature Each depr2. d turned off or if there is a power failure you must wait 3 to 5 minutes before restarting the unit If you attempt to restart before this time delay the Wine Cooler will not work e When you use the appliance for the first time or restart the appliance after it s been shut off for a long time there could be a few degrees difference between the temperature you select and the one indicated on the LED readout This is normal and is due to the length of the inactivation time Once the appliance has been running for a few hours everything should be back to normal CARE AND MAINTENANCE Cleaning Your Appliance 1 Turn off the power unplug the appliance and remove all items including shelves and racks 2 Wash the inside surfaces with a warm water and baking soda solution The solution should consist of about 2 tablespoons of baking soda to a quart of water 3 Wash the shelves with a mild detergent solution 4 Wring excess water out of the sponge or cloth when cleaning the area of the controls or any electrical parts 5 Wash the exterior of the cooler with a warm solution of mild liquid detergent Rinse well and wipe dry with a clean soft cloth Defrosting Defrosting of the inside the appliance occurs automatically during operation Approximately every 8 hours the compressor will stop running for about 30 minutes During defrosting the temperature will be higher than you set The defrost water is collected by the evaporating tray above
3. e front leveling legs at the bottom of the Wine Cooler Locate the appliance away from direct sunlight and sources of heat stove heater radiator etc Direct sunlight may affect the acrylic coating and heat sources may increase electrical consumption Very cold ambient temperatures may also cause the unit not to perform properly Avoid locating the unit in moist areas Plug the appliance into an exclusive properly installed grounded wall outlet Do not under any circumstances cut or remove the third ground prong from the power cord Any questions concerning power and or grounding should be directed toward a certified and authorized products service center The two handles are stored inside the unit Install one on each door using the screws supplied Defrosting While it is running the appliance defrosts itself every 8 hours The defrosting process lasts about 30 minutes The melt water collects in the evaporator drip tray where it evaporates automatically During the process of defrosting the displayed temperature may be higher than the set temperature NOTE You may notice condensation on the outer surface of the glass doors This occurs when water vapor from the air contacts the cold surface of the doors and the vapor condenses on the glass 3 causing a fogging effect In extreme situations water can even drip off the doors indicating excessive humidity in the environment OPERATION Recommended temperatures for chilling wine
4. ession of the button will scroll through the available temperature settings for each compartment raising or lowering the set temperature 1 degree at a time The temperature selected will flash in the LED display for approximately 5 seconds then revert back to displaying the internal temperature of that zone The compartment The temperature setting can be adjusted from 5 C to 20 C 41 F to 68 F To view the set temperature at any time press either button or once and the set temperature for that compartment will flash in the LED display for 5 seconds 3 RUN Indicator light illuminates to signify the cooling mode is currently in operation LIGHT LOCK You can turn the interior light ON or OFF by pushing the button marked with the bulb symbol The light will turn off automatically if it remains ON for 10 minutes Pushing the button marked with the bulb symbol again will turn the light back on For optimum storage of wine keep the light off except when viewing LIGHT LOCK Press and hold the LIGHT LOCk button for 3 seconds The control panel will lock and can not be operated again until the button is pressed again After that it will operate normally Temperature Conversion This unit has the option to display temperatures in either Celsius or Fahrenheit To change the setting press and hold both buttons and simultaneously for approximately 3 seconds NOTES e If the unit is unplugge
