SPT INSTRUCTION MANUAL ELECTRIC OVEN WTERTE Model Number SO 1005 aa i60a EID G US Liste 3053677 Before operating your Oven Toaster Please read all instructions carefully and keep it for future reference IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS When using electrical appliances basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire electric shock and injury to persons including the following Read all instructions before using appliance Close supervision is necessary when this appliance is used near children This appliance is not for use by children Do not operate any damaged appliance Do not operate with a damaged cord or plug or alter the appliance Do not operate if appliance malfunctions or has been dropped or damaged in any manner Return appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination repair or mechanical adjustment Before using this appliance move it four to six inches away from the wal or any object on the countertop Do not store any item on top of the appliance when in operation Do not use on surfaces where heat may cause a problem A fire may occur if this appliance touches or is covered by flammable material including curtains draperies etc when in operation Do not store any materials other than manufacturer s recommended accessories in this oven when not in use Do not cover crumb tray or any part of the oven with metal foil This will cause overheatin
2. d all sections of this booklet and follow all instructions carefully 1 Insert the plug into the wall socket s Don t plug in the same outlet with other electric appliances e It is dangerous to plug into wail outlet when hands are wet Turn the oven on for about 3 5 minutes and make sure there is nothing in it The oven might give off a slight odor the first time This is perfectly normal and harmless and will disappear after use Place your food inside the oven on the rack or baking tray Put oily foed fish chicken meat on the rack for roasting and insert the baking tray at the lower shelf or put directly into the baking tray Put non cily food toast cake cookie directly into the baking tray at the middle sheif Use the timer to set cooking time and indicator light will switch on For cooking time less than 25 minutes set the timer to 30 minutes and turn it back to the required cooking time Select the temperature using the thermostat knob Set the function selector to the desired position See diagram below for explanation of functions h BROIL GRILL FUNCTION Heating on upper heating element only Heating on lower heating etement only TOAST BAKE Heating on upper and lower heating element OFF Stop heating The indicator light will switch on if timer is not on OFF 6 After desired cooking time has lapsed the timer will sound and the power will cut off automatically amp indicator light switch
3. es off 7 Remove your food using the clipper or gloves Unplug from outlet when not in use 8 Convection air Select the heat selector to the position of Broil Grill or Toast Bake for even convection air cocking Do not open door to enable the convection air to circulate during operation Barbecue grill e Ensure that the rack is placed correctly and put the drip tray at the base of oven e Select the heat selector to the position of Broil Grill or Toast Bake and turn on timer switch for barbecue grill cooking e It is dangerous to touch rack when operating Switch off the oven and allow it to cool completely before cleaning WARNING TO AVOID RISK OF INJURY OR BURNS DO NOT TOUCH HOT SURFACES WHEN OVEN IS IN USE Caution Always use extreme care when removing broiler rack fry pan baking racks crumb tray or any hot container from a hot oven Always use the tray rack handle or an oven mitt when removing these items BROIL GRILL FUNCTION Upper Elements Only Set temperature selector to 450 Turn Function Selector to Broil Grill 44 Preheat the oven Place the baking tray to the lowest level Place the food on the Rack and slide into the top rack support guide or middie rack support guide depending on the thickness of the food that you are cooking Food should be placed as close as possible to the top heating element without touching it Set temperature control to the appropriate temperature Brush f
4. g of the oven Extreme caution should be exercised when using containers constructed of anything other than metal or glass Do not place any flammable materia such as paper cardboard plastic etc in the oven When broiling the bake broil tray assembly and rack must be used To reduce the risk of fire or electrical shock oversized foods or utensils must not be inserted into the toaster oven broiler To reduce the risk of electrical shock do not place any part of the unit in or under water or other liquid See instructions for cleaning Do not use outdoors or while standing in damp area To reduce the risk of electrical shock do not clean with metal scouring pads Damage could occur to parts Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning Always turn unit OFF before unplugging Allow to coo before putting on or taking off parts and before cleaning the appliance CAUTION Never leave toaster oven broiler unattended when broiling or toasting Temperature contro knob should be in OFF position when unattended Do not jet cord hang over edge of table or counter or touch hot surfaces Do not touch hot surfaces Use handles or knobs Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquids Use extreme caution when removing broiling tray or disposing of hot grease Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner or in a heated oven Use accessory attachments only if recomme
