4. po TECHNICAL DATA A TO57 CLEAN METAL PRIMER DESCRIPTION AND USES Rust Oleum Clean Metal Auto Primer is designed to prepare the surface of clean lightly rusted or previously painted metal for application of automotive lacquers and enamels Clean Metal Primer provides excellent rust prevention when top coated with lacquers or automotive enamels For best results top coat with Rust Oleum Auto Paint If using an auto lacquer a test application for compatibility is recommended Clean Metal Primer features an advanced spray system that allows you to spray at any angle even upside down for those hard to reach areas A comfort spray tip with a wider finger pad reduces fatigue caused by continuous spraying PRODUCTS SKU 12 ounce spray Description 249319 White PRODUCT APPLICATION PAINTING CONDITIONS Use outdoors or in a well ventilated area such as an open garage Use when temperature is between 50 90 F 10 32 C and humidity is below 85 to ensure proper drying Do not apply to surfaces that when heated exceed 200 F 93 C or galvanized metal Avoid spraying in very windy and dusty conditions Cover surrounding area to protect from spray mist SURFACE PREPARATION Wash the surface with a commercial detergent or other suitable cleaning method to remove dirt Rinse with fresh water and dry with a clean cloth Remove all oil grease wax and petroleum based materials with mineral spirits Remove loose paint and rust wit
