TECHNICAL DATA SPC 08 SPECIALTY FROSTED GLASS SPRAY e TRUSTED QUALITY SINCE 1921 RUSTOLEUM SPECIALTY DESCRIPTION AND USES Rust Oleum Frosted Glass Spray creates an etched glass appearance but permits light to transmit through the painted surface It is designed for use on glass doors windows skylights shower doors and greenhouses For a decorative effect use a stencil to create an etched look on mirrors shower door exteriors glass accessories and more PRODUCTS SKU Description 1903830 Frosted Glass PAINTING CONDITIONS Use outdoors or in a well ventilated area Use when temperature is between 50 90 F 10 32 C and humidity is below 85 to ensure proper drying Do not apply to surfaces when heated exceed 200 F 93 C or surfaces that are exposed to repeated or continuous water contact such as the inside of shower doors Avoid spraying in very windy and dusty conditions Cover surrounding area to protect from spray mist PRODUCT APPLICATION SURFACE PREPARATION Remove all dirt grease oil salt and chemical contaminants by washing the surface with a commercial detergent or other suitable cleaning method Rinse with fresh water and allow to thoroughly dry PRODUCT APPLICATION cont APPLICATION Shake can vigorously for one minute after the mixing ball begins to rattle If mixing ball fails to rattle DO NOT STRIKE CAN Contact Rust Oleum Hold can upright 10 16 from surfac2. e and spray in a steady back and forth motion slightly overlapping each stroke Keep the can the same distance from the surface Keep the can in motion while spraying Apply two or more wet coats a few minutes apart for best appearance A wet coat should appear shiny as it is applied to the surfaces WAIT 10 MINUTES FOR FROST EFFECT Not for outdoor use Do not use near open flame DRY amp RECOAT Dry and recoat times are based on 70 F 21 C and 50 relative humidity Allow more time at cooler temperatures Dries completely in 5 10 minutes May recoat at any time CLEAN UP Clean valve immediately after use by turning can upside down and depressing spray button for 3 5 seconds some paint will be sprayed out so be careful to not inadvertently spray yourself or other objects Clean up wet paint with xylene or mineral spirits Properly discard empty container Do not burn or place in home trash compactor CLOGGING If the valve clogs twist and pull off spray tip and rinse ina solvent such as mineral spirits Do not insert any object into can valve opening Form GDH 329 Rev 042114 RUSTOLEUM POPS ra ae Coma he PHYSICAL PROPERTIES Physical Properties FROSTED GLASS SPRAY Resin Type Acrylic Lacquer Pigment Type Proprietary Solvents Acetone N Butyl Acetate Xylene MIR 1 40 Max Fill Weight 11 ounces Praciical Coverage al Approximately 7 sq ft can Recommended DFT assumes 15 material l
