1. wosst nous manufacturing quality windows oo aed installation flange gt Lnstaation Flange tip to tp actual size Bough Opening rvnex7 157 8inchwidth x 285 8inchheight_ iach with x 27incbhelght ramon s1xeindwiah x asrinceign soinchwidth x 27nerbigt avisoto 31 chwidth x 413 4inchheight_ _3tinch width x A0inch height esos 313 ainch width x 55 el inch Remove the old window from the opening and clear any obstructions that would hinder the Installation of the new window The new window must have clean outside mounting surface in order for the installation flange to seal properly See Figure 1 From the outside of the home place the new window In the opening making sure that the screw flange covers the window opening by at least 1 on all sides If the window is larger than the opening you must siter the window opening so the total opening is 1 smaller than the serew flange The opening must be large enough so as not to interfere with the back of the window frame once the window is inserted into the hole Once proper fitis insured remove the window and apply caulking of putty tape to the backside of the screw flange making sure to cover the mounting holes with at least wide bead of sealant Place the window in the opening with the sill resting on the bottom of the opening Adjust the window in the opening so that it is level and plumb Whil2. e holding the window in the opening flat against the Wall start the first fastener in the screw flange 1 refer to Figure 2 Continue installing fasteners in numeric order 2 3 etc refer to Figure 2 Check the window for operation before more fasteners are used The window should operate smoothly Install the rest of the fasteners starting in the center of each member progressing out towards the corners through the holes provided in the window Check window for proper operation Note When installing ROSSI Windows we recommend a 8 fastener screw with a minimum length 1 Fasteners must be attached to structurally sound member of the wall fasteners not included x Stinch he
