19. the scanner clock with the computer You can change this setting from the XMS PC Connect application as described on page 21 RL XMS PC Connect The clock inside your scanner can be synchronized with your computer clock The scanner s internal clock is used to stamp your scanned images with the date and time you performed the scan The clock is set to a factory default and may not have the current date and time Synchronization sets the scanner s clock to match this computer s clock Synchronize now and every time I attach this scanner Synchronize this time only Do not synchronize You can set this scanner s clock to match the computer clock at a later time through the Options dialog of the AMS PC Connect canei e Option 1 select this option to synchronize the scanner with the computer each time you plug it in This synchronization only occurs when the XMS PC Connect application is running e Option 2 select this option to have the scanner clock updated immediately but not each time you plug in the scanner e Option 3 select this option if you want to keep the factory default clock setting The option you select in this window is retained on the current computer not on the scanner If you install the XMS PC Connect application on a different computer and connect your scanner for the first time you will be prompted to choose an option for that computer XMS PC Connect 17 Users Guide Applicat
