1. 7 Y Y A Y A A A A Y ESSSSSS FIG 3 PARA ENSAMBLARLO Coloque el ventilador en una superficie plana y estable donde no pueda caerse o ser halado por el cord n Coloque el ventilador en la base de manera que la parte de atr s del ventilador con la caja del motor visible quede frente a la parte de atr s de la base el lado donde est n ubicadas las patas de goma Alinee las leng etas en el ventilador con las ranuras en la base Presione firmemente en la parte de arriba del ventilador hasta que oiga un sonido indicando que las leng etas en el ventilador est n firmemente aseguradas en las ranuras de la base Fig 2 Examine el ajuste para la inclinaci n colocando una mano en el asa para llevar y manipulando el ventilador hacia atr s y hacia adelante con la otra Fig 3 INSTRUCCIONES DE FUNCIONAMIENTO 1 Enchufe el ventilador en un tomacorriente el ctrico 2 Encienda el ventilador y seleccione la velocidad deseada 3 Ajuste la inclinaci n de su preferencia CUIDADO Y LIMPIEZA Este artefacto requiere un m nimo de mantenimiento y no tiene piezas que puedan ser reparadas No trate de repararlo usted mismo Si necesita reparaci n rem talo a personas calificadas Este ventilador est permanentemente lubricado y no necesitar lubricaci n adicional PARA LIMPIAR Antes de limpiarlo apague el ventilador y desench felo Sacuda el exceso de polvo con un pa o libre de pelusas Para2. ORTANT During the first few minutes of initial use there may be a slight odor This is normal and will quickly disappear This fan has three speeds and a tilt adjustment feature that enables it to be adjusted vertically for maximum cooling angle FAN BASE ATTACHMENT BEFORE ATTACHMENT Remove fan and base from packaging Notice fan has two sets of tabs on bottom and corresponding slots Base is also contoured to facilitate tilt adjustment Two rubber feet on underside of base help maintain stability while fan is in operation Note location of rubber feet as this will help in positioning fan correctly for attachment TO ASSEMBLE Set fan base on a flat stable surface where it cannot fall or be pulled on by the cord Place fan in base so that rear of fan with motor housing visible faces rear of base side where rubber feet are located Line up tabs on fan with slots in base Press firmly on top of fan until sharp clicks are heard indicating that tabs on fan are firmly secured to slots in base see Fig 2 Test tilt adjustment by placing one hand on AN N L AOS AAN carrying handle and manipulating fan back and forth with the other see Fig 3 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS 1 Plug fan into electrical outlet 2 Turn fan on and select desired speed 3 Adjust tilt to suit personal preference CARE AND CLEANING This appliance requires little maintenance and contains no user serviceable parts Do not try to fix it yourself
