DP 009 September 2006 8178602 Delivery amp Installation Pointer September 2006 Exhaust Blower Change New Microwave Hood Combination MHO Whirlpool Brand The newly designed MHC is shipped with the exhaust blower in the recirculation position The blower can be rotated for a top discharge or rear discharge by removing the 2 recessed screws on the rear of the MHC The 2 visible gold colored screws under the blower housing are being removed in error BACKGROUND Procedure to reverse the blower assembly 1 Locate the 2 screws that loosen the blower assembly The screws are located in the holes below the blower assembly See Figure A RECESSED SCREWS DO NOT REMOVE THESE SCREWS FIGURE A 2 Removing the 2 screws will require either a hand screwdriver or a longer phillips bit for your drill These screws are recessed into the hole approximately 3 3 Remove the blower assembly and rotate to the desired position When rotating the blower it is best to disconnect the wiring harness plug before rotating the blower assembly After repositioning the blower reinstall the wiring harness plug 4 Do not to overtighten the 2 blower screws when reinstalling DP 009 Septiembre 2006 8178602 Boletin Sobre Entrega E Instalacion Septiembre 2006 Cambio del soplador de ventilacion Nuevas combinaciones de microondas campana MHC Marca Whirlpool PROBLEME La MHC de nuevo diseno es trasladada con el sop2. lador de escape en la posicion de recirculaci n Se puede rotar el soplador para ventilar por la parte superior o posterior quitando los 2 tornillos embutidos en la parte trasera del MHC Los 2 tornillos visibles de color dorado ubicados debajo de la caja del soplador son quitados por equivocaci n ANTECEDENTES Procedimiento para invertir el ensamblaje del soplador 1 Localice los 2 tornillos que aflojan el ensamblaje del soplador Los tornillos est n ubicados en los orificios debajo del ensamblaje del soplador vea la Figura A TORNILLOS EMPOTRADOS NO QUITE ESTOS TORNILLOS FIGURA A 2 Para quitar los 2 tornillos necesitar un destornillador manual o una broca Phillips m s larga para su taladro Estos tornillos est n empotrados en el orificio aproximadamente 34 3 Quite el ensamblaje del soplador y rote a la posici n deseada Para rotar el soplador es mejor desconectar el enchufe del mazo de alambres antes de rotar el ensamblaje del soplador Una vez que se haya reposicionado el soplador reinstale el enchufe del mazo de alambres 4 No ajuste excesivamente los 2 tornillos del soplador cuando lo reinstale
