1. Cook Power can be changed at any time during the cooking cycle Touch COOK POWER Touch a number for the new Cook Power Touch START The oven will continue to cook at the new Cook Power OR Touch COOK POWER Touch CHANGE CANCEL Pad once then touch START if you want to change a lower Cook Power to HIGH Faster or slower defrosting When you DEFROST at Cook Power 5 the microwave oven automatically uses 50 of full power For slower or faster defrosting Use 30 of full power for slower defrosting Use 60 of full power for faster defrosting Defrosting at Cook Powers higher than 50 can cause more cooking on the outside of the food Standing time For best results allow the food to stand for a while after defrosting This helps equalize the temperature of the food to provide more even cooking Defrosting and cooking in two cycles For best results some recipes call for one Cook Power for a certain length of time and another Cook Power for different length of time Your microwave oven can be set to change from one to another automatically The controls on your microwave oven can also be set to defrost in Cook1 then automatically cook in Cook 2 DO THIS THIS HAPPENS 4 Put food in the oven and close the door 12 Touch COOK 1 amp 2 once FE E Touch Number Pads for the cooking time you want in the first cycle COOK POWER Touch COOK POWER Option Skip to step 6 i

20. foods Any food that has to wait for cooking to start should be very cold or frozen before itis put in the oven MOST UNFROZEN FOODS SHOULD NEVER STAND AT ROOM TEMPERATURE MORE THAN TWO HOURS BEFORE COOKING STARTS Cancelling instructions e Touch CANCEL twice to erase all instruction Opening the oven door during cooking does not cancel cooking instructions Programming tone Each time you touch a pad you will hear a tone If you don t hear a tone it is because the instruction is not correct EXAMPLE If you touch a Number Pad without touching COOK1 amp 2 or PROBE TEMP Pad first you will not hear a tone The instruction is not correct Other operating hints There are a number of things you can do with your microwave oven Some will be reminders Others will be mentioned for the first time 1 To double check settings touch the command pads for the settings you want to check The instructions you touched in for those pads will show in the Display Touch START to start the oven or return the Display to show what the oven is doing 2 To stop the oven while it is running e Open the door The oven will stop You can restart it by closing the door and touching START e Touch CANCEL twice All instructions will be erased You must touch in new instructions e f you touch two instructions into the same cycle second instruction will erase the first 21 o 10 6 c 0 e 9 lt m S z Caring
