1. I Before calling for assistance Performance problems often result from litle things you can find and fix yourself without tools of any kind lf your refrigerator will not operate eis the electric cord plugged into a live circuit with proper voltage See page 4 e Have you checked your home s main fuses or circuit breaker box e Is the Temperature Control turned ON lf there is a rattling or jingling noise or unfamiliar sounds e is something ontop or behind the refrigerator making noise when the refrigerator is running e New features on your new refrigerator make new sounds You may be hearing air flowing from the fans timer clicks for the defrosting cycle or defrost water draining in the defrost pan if your ice maker will not operate e Has the freezer had enough time to get cold With a new refrigerator this might take overnight e Is the signal arm ON in the down position e isthe water valve turned on Is water getting to the ice maker If there is water in the defrost pan e This is normal in hot muggy weather The pan can even be half full Make sure the refrigerator is level so the pan does not overflow If the Ilghts are not working e Have you checked your home s main fuses or circuit breaker Is the power supply cord plugged into a live circuit with the proper voltage See page 4 it a bulb is burned out e See instructions for changing light bulbs on page 6 Only use appliance bu

8. awer temperature Cold air flows against the meat drawer through an opening between the freezer and the re frigerator This helps keep the meat drawer colder than the rest of the refrigerator Set the control to let more or less cold airthrough USE CONTROL TO ADJUST MEAT DRAWER TEMPERATURES Removing the meat drawer and cover To remove the meat drawer 1 Slide meat drawer straight out to the stop 2 Lift the front 3 Slide the rest of the way out 4 Replace in reverse order PUSH THE TAB TO CLEAR THE COVER To remove the cover e Cover is held in place by two pegs at the back and a notched tab in front 1 Press front tab out of the way 2 Liff cover front 3 Lift back off the pegs 4 Replace in reverse order SNAP BACK INTO PLACE Removing the freezer trivet 4 Lift fhe trivet from the support brackets on the back wall 2 Replace in reverse order Changing the light bulb A WARNING Before removing a light shield for cleaning or for replacing the bulb either unplug the refrigerator or disconnect the electricity leading to the refrigerator at the main power supply Shock and injury can occur if electricity remains connected To change light bulb behind refrigerator consoles 4 Pull control knob straight off 2 Pull bottom of control panel straight out 3 Lift top of panel off supports 4 Replace with a 40 watt appliance bulb 5 Replace panel i
