2. 55 PAGE 9 WEIDER SPORTING GOODS O Next select the two round 3 4 X 11 1 2 PAD BARS 7 to be assembled to the LEG CURL 11 Press 3 4 ROUND PLASTIC INSERT CAPS 74 into the ends of each Pad Bar Apply a small amount of liquid dish detergent to each end of the Pad Bars and slide only one 2 3 4 X 5 FOAM PAD 13 onto one end of each C Assemble each PAD BAR 7 into the 3 4 holes at the bottom and approximately mid way on the top of the LEG CURL 11 Slide on another 2 3 4 X 5 FOAM PAD 13 onto the inserted bar end STEP 4 BUTTERFLY ASSEMBLY 54 SHe XS HEXHEADBOLT 2 55 SHe NYLONLOCKNUT s1 ma nyrontocknur E za 2 ea 7e ROUNDPLASTICINSERTCAP 2 2 2 2 C There are two Butterfly Attachments with this unit a RIGHT BUTTERFLY 14 and a LEFT BUTTERFLY 15 Instructions are given for one and are repeated to assemble the other 71 172 SQUARE PLASTIC INSERT CAP 74 9 4 ROUND PLASTIC INSERT CAP 7s _weicnTstop o o z6 i x2rPLasnicsueeve 2 7 wa xa PLASTICSLEEVE 2 L Assemble the the end with the hole of the 3 4 X 9 BUTTERFLY PAD BAR 17 into the large hole in the side and at one end of the Butterfly Frame Assemble this into the side of the Frame which does not have the welded round tube Aligning bolt holes bolt using a 1 4 X 2 MACHINE SCREW 62 through the Butterfly Frame and then through the Butterfly Pad Bar Secure with a 1 4 NYLON LOCK NUT
3. 61 C Press a 3 4 ROUND PLASTIC CAP 74 into the end of BUTTERFLY PAD BAR 17 Slide LARGE FOAM 76 PAD 2 3 4 X 5 13 onto the end of BUTTERFLY PAD BAR 17 Again a small amount of liquid dish detergent will help with this assembly WELDED ROUND TUBE 14 C At the other end of the Butterfly Frame there is a large hole on the inside of the Frame Assemble the end with the hole of the BUTTERFLY WEIGHT PIN 1 X 11 29 into the large hole on the inside of the Frame Using a 5 16 X 5 HEX HEAD BOLT 54 bolt through the Butterfly Frame and then through the Weight Pin Assemble a 1 2 X 3 PLASTIC SLEEVE 77 onto the bolt end and secure with a 5 16 NYLON LOCK NUT 55 LJ Press a1 ROUND PLASTIC CAP 72 into the end of the Weight Pin Slide WEIGHT STOP 75 over the Weight Pin until it is against the Butterfly Frame L Assemble 1 X 2 PLASTIC SLEEVE 76 over welded round tube on the Butterfly Frame C Slide the entire assembly into one of the PLASTIC BUTTERFLY BRACKETS 94 on the UPRIGHT 1 Insert STOPPER PIN 78 into the center of assembly rounded end first making sure the side of the Stopper Pin that has a raised section is aligned with the hole in the welded Butterfly Tube Push STOPPER PIN 78 into welded Butterfly Tube until it clicks into place as the raised section exits the hole C Press a1 1 2 SQUARE PLASTIC CAP 71 into the top end of Butterfly Frame Press a 7 8 ROUND PLASTIC INSERT CAP

5. 64 into the opening opposite the welded round tube on the Butterfly Frame PAGE 10 WEIDER SPORTING GOODS STEP 5 MAST ASSEMBLY 21 puey Tk 22 sne everereorr Lt ae 3 8 24 aB NYLONLOCKNUT 2 r sos o o y Od 57 8 X1 1 2 HEX HEAD BOLT a 63 1 2 X 13 8 METAL SPACER 71 14 2 SQUARE PLASTIC INSERT CAP 72 1 ROUNDPLASTICINSERTCAP 2 81 1 2 X 3 4 METAL SPACER 22 SNS ACORNNUT C Assemble a 1 2 X 1 3 8 METAL SPACER 63 into a PULLEY 21 nsert the Pulley into the top of the MAST 12 and using a 3 8 X 2 HEX HEAD BOLT 23 bolt in place by bolting through the top of the Mast and then through the Pulley Secure with a 3 8 NYLON LOCK NUT 24 O Drape the 58 CABLE 25 over the PULLEY 21 and cap the MAST 12 with a 1 1 2 SQUARE PLASTIC INSERT CAP 71 L Assemble a 1 2 X 3 4 METAL SPACER 81 into another PULLEY 21 Drape the 48 CABLE 26 over the Pulley and assemble the Pulley into the Pulley Plates at the bottom of the MAST 12 trapping the Cable behind the Pulley Secure in place using a 3 8 X 1 1 2 HEX HEAD BOLT 57 and bolting through the Plates and into the Pulley Secure with a 3 8 NYLON LOCK NUT 24 PULLEY PLATES L Press 1 ROUND PLASTIC INSERT CAPS 72 into each end of the LAT BAR 16 Apply a small amount of liquid dish detergent to each end of the Lat Bar and assemble the FOAM GRIPS 19 onto each end of the Lat Bar C Assemb

12. iameter and 13 3 4 long with a bolt hole near one end Go 72 L Assemble the end of the WEIGHT PIN 30 with the hole into the angled hole on the front of the LEG CURL 11 Align the bolt holes Using a 5 16 X 2 HEX HEAD BOLT 60 bolt through the Leg Curl and then through the Weight Pin Secure with a 5 16 NYLON LOCK NUT 55 C Press a1 ROUND PLASTIC INSERT CAP 72 into the front end of the WEIGHT PIN 30 C Press a1 ROUND PLASTIC COVER CAP W 15 ANGLE END 73 onto the Weight Pin protruding from the back of the LEG CURL 11 C Position the Leg Curl between the Leg Curl Brackets on MAIN FRAME 3 and secure with 3 8 X 2 1 2 HEX HEAD BOLT 56 and 3 8 NYLON LOCK NUT 24 This bolt should be tightened but be careful not to over tighten or the Leg Curl will bind Slide a WEIGHT STOP 75 flanged side to the outside over the Weight Pin at the bottom of the Leg Extension L Select the special 1 1 2 SQUARE PLASTIC CAP 93 which has 240 written inside it Press this Cap into the forward end of the LEG CURL 11 L Select the WEIGHT BAR 20 This is a round tube 1 in diameter and 12 long with a hole in the center Press 1 ROUND PLASTIC INSERT CAPS 72 into the ends of the Bar Assemble this Bar into the hole at the front end of the LEG CURL 11 Secure in place by inserting a 5 16 EYELET BOLT 22 down through the top of the Leg Curl and through the Bar Fasten in place with a 5 16 NYLON LOCK NUT
