1. The internal NiMH battery in the unit can be charged by plugging the unit into a standard AC 120V 60Hz outlet using the DC Power Jack This requires an AC or DC Adapter not included Batteries The unit can be powered by 4 C Sized batteries or the internal NiMH battery DC 1 5V C Size x 4 Not Included NiMH 3 6V 120mAH Do not mix old and new batteries Do not mix alkaline standard carbon zinc or rechargeable ni cad ni mh etc batteries Setting the Clock 1 Power the unit off by turning the Power Volume Dial counter clockwise 2 Press and hold the Time Set Button 3 While holding the Time Set Button press the Hour Button to adjust the hour and the Minute Button to adjust the minute 4 Once the time is set release the Time Set Button Tuning the AM FM Radio _ 1 Power the unit on by turning the Power Volume Dial clockwise 2 Adjust the FM AM WB Switch to FM or AM 3 Turn the Tuning Dial to adjust the FM or AM radio frequency The current FM or AM radio frequency will be displayed on the LCD Display Tuning the WB WeatherBand Radio 1 Power the unit on by turning the Power Volume Button clockwise 2 Adjust the FM AM WB Switch to WB 3 Turn the Tuning Dial to adjust the WB radio frequency The WB radio frequency will not display on the LCD Display Volume Using the Lantern and Torch 1 With the u
