TEMP and Buttons to set the time in hours that you want the unit to turn off The number of hours will display in the Display LCD Press the TIMER Button again to confirm your time System Lock Activate a System Lock function by pressing the LOCK Button You will also see the LOCK LOCK LED illuminate During a System Lock all function buttons will be disabled so as not to O disturb settings To Unlock simply press the LOCK Button again LOCK Dealing with Condensation Over time condensation will form when the SRCOOL12K SRXCOOL12K is in Cool or Dehumidify Modes This unit offers a built in evaporator that takes this condensation and re evaporates it back into the hot exhaust stream The unit contains no user removable tank that requires emptying A Drainage Outlet on the side of the unit exists for those wanting a dedicated drainage system instead of re evaporation Simply connect a draining tube to the Drainage Outlet and run the tube to your facility s drainage receptacle For those opting to use a dedicated drainage system if the drainage system becomes clogged there is a small internal reservoir that will collect the water until the system is cleared If not cleared in time or if the reservoir fills the unit will automatically shut down G Before implementing a d

7. asure the dimensions of your ceiling grid and adjust the Adapter Board accordingly The Adapter Board should measure slightly longer than the spacing in the grid so that it may rest directly on top of the grid panels When the correct measurement is determined lock the board in place using the supplied nut and bolt see Figure A 2 Attach the Exhaust Cooling Duct with the Duct Adapter into the oblong hole in the Window Drop Ceiling Kit s Adapter Board The adapter will snap into place 3 Slide your ceiling tile out of the way and place the Adapter Board inside the ceiling space on top of the grid panels as seen in the diagram Note There should be at least 10 to 15 inches of space above the Exhaust Cooling Duct so that the duct is not blocked 4 Slide your ceiling tile back into place as far as it will go Be sure to slide the tile back as far as it can go to ensure the unit s efficiency Note The Exhaust Duct longer tube can be stretched to a maximum length of 118 inches 300 cm It is better to keep the duct s length to a minimum Excessive stretching or bending of the duct will affect cooling efficiency S 5 INCORR

11. edicated drainage system be sure the power is Drainage Outlet T off and the unit is unplugged Failure to heed this warning may result in electrical shock eT Val le l E eE To The SRCOOL12K SRXCOOL12K has been designed to give you many years of dependable service It is important however to care for the unit and practice routine maintenance procedures to insure proper and efficient functioning Cleaning the Air Filters It is important to keep the air filters clean and free of dust When the filters become dirty or covered in dust it decreases the cooling effect and can threaten air quality Tripp Lite recommends cleaning the filters at least once every two weeks Before cleaning the air filters turn the unit off and be sure it is unplugged Failure to heed this warning may result in electrical shock or other personal injury 1 Slide out the Air Filter Covers as seen in the diagram 2 Remove the air filters and wash it in warm water with a neutral detergent DO NOT put the filters into a dishwasher or use harsh detergents or chemicals Let the filters air dry completely Note DO NOT use hot water over 104 F 40 C to clean the filters 3 Replace the filters and slide the Air Filter Covers back into their original position You are now ready to replace the unit to its original location and resume normal use Cleaning the Cabinet It is recommended that the cabinet be cleaned periodically to avoid excess dust bu
