1. Assembly Instructions ITEM NO 31124 Rate loop 1 aoe Nipple 2 mg Socket ring 3 Glass shade 4 x i Socket 5 Coupling 16 T Arm 6 on Ball screw 7 Column 15 Arm 8 Wheel 14 _ Housing 13 ee Hex nut amp lock washer 9 P Stem with hex nut 10 Finial 12 5 Cap 11 1 Carefully remove the fixture out of the carton and check that all parts are included referring to the above illustration Make sure not to misplace any parts that are needed for the installation 2 Screw the Fixture loop 1 onto the Nipple 2 3 Thread Stem with hex nut 10 into Coupling 16 then insert Column 15 Wheel 14 Housing 13 onto Stem with hex nut 10 and secure with Hex nut 4 Insert the bottom end of Arm 8 into Housing 13 and lock it in place by Hex nut amp lock washer 9 then attach the top end of Arm 8 onto Arm 6 with Ball screw 7 5 Slide Cap 11 onto Stem with hex nut 10 then thread Finial 12 on 6 Put Glass shade 4 over Socket 5 then secure with Socket ring 3 7 Install the lamps on Assembly Instruction for the fixture with safety cable NOTE Fixtures weighing over 50 Ibs must be supported independently of the outlet box 1 Turn off power 2 Supply wires shall enter the outlet box through any knockout except the top center knockout 3 Fixture is to be mounted by a steel pipe approximately 3 4 of Structural Br2. 13 Weave both fixture wires and copper ground wire up chain and exit through top hole inside of pipe coupling 14 Connect fixture ground wire and ground wire attached to threaded pipe to outlet box ground wire with wire connector not provided Never Screw Collar Loop connect ground wire to black or power supply wires Make wire connections connectors not provided Reference chart below for correct connections and wire accordingly Support Cable Pipe Coupling Ground Wire Connect Black or Connect Black or Red Supply Wire to White Supply Wire to Parallel cord round amp smooth _ Parallel cord square amp ridged Clear Brown Gold or Clear Brown Gold or Black without tracer Black without tracer Insulated wire other than Insulated wire other than een with copper conductor oreen with silver conductor Notes When parallel SPTI amp SPTII are used The Neutral wire is square shaped or ridged and the other wire Will be round in shape or smooth see us Warning Consult a qualified Electrician for installation Light Loop
3. idging 3 8 18NPSN threads at bottom Not Supplied Position pipe so that Member approximately 1 2 of thread protrudes into outlet box Attach pipe to a structural bridging member of sufficient strength to support at least 4 times the fixture weigh Clamps 4 Thread pipe coupling onto protruding inside outlet box 5 Thread hex nut onto threaded pipe Screw threaded pipe into pipe coupling Secure in place by tightening hex nut against pipe coupling and tightening allen head screw 6 Thread hex nut Ship on ground wire and thread a second hex nut onto threaded pipe 7 Connect screw collar loop without threaded ring to threaded pipe Pass canopy over screw collar loop Approximately one half of the screw collar loop exterior thread should be exposed Adjust loop as required Remove canopy and tighten hex nut against screw collar loop Tighten second hex nut against first to hold ground wire in place 9 Attach chain to fixture not shown 10 Slip threaded ring then canopy onto chain 1 Attach chain with fixture connected to bottom of screw collar loop Ailen Head Screw 12 Weave silver support cable up chain and exit through top hole inside of pipe coupling Slip cable through top existing opening or drill 3 16 dia Hole near center of outlet box Wrap cable around structural member described in step 3 Cable must be pulled tight to evenly distribute fixture weight between cable and chain Secure cable with 2 claps provided Threaded Pipe
