DTH7500 en 4 07 03 16 55 Page 1 p Precautions and information before connecting e Ensure that the mains supply in your house complies with that indicated on the identification sticker located at the back of your device Install your device horizontally on a suitable base furniture with enough space around it for ventilation 7 10 cm Ensure that the ventilation slots and the device itself are not covered by objects such as a mat newspapers curtain etc Do not stack any other equipment on top of your DMR Do not place the device on top of an amplifier or any other equipment that gives off heat The appliance should not be in contact with liquids or exposed to the risk of dripping or splashing Therefore be careful not to place any EN object containing a liquid vase glass bottle on or near your appliance The DMR must not be near or exposed to a flame For instance do not place a candle on or near the device Protect the DMR from moisture and excess heat e g fireplace or equipment creating strong magnetic or electric fields i e speakers Before moving the device ensure the disc tray is empty Switching off the DMR to the stand by mode does not disconnect the electricity supply In order to separate the device completely from the mains it has to be disconnected by unplugging the mains plug When connecting ensure that the plugs of the various cables are pushed securely into their corresponding socket

12. 07 03 16 55 Page 25 p Recording functions 7 Recording quality Select a recording quality from the 4 proposed using the key 1 High 2 Normal 3 Basic 4 Low Note choice of quality enables you to adapt the recording time on the hard disc The higher the quality the bigger the space used on the hard disc Select one of the following options high Normal Basic base or Low When empty the hard disc of your DMR can contain around 120 hours of recording for a 4 Low quality adjustment 20 hours in 1 High The figure to 4 is displayed in the information banner when playing EN the recording The quality choice is only valid for one particular programming session 8 VPSIPDC Activate the VPSIPDC function using the gt key to trigger recording at the actual time of the beginning of the broadcast If the channel broadcasts VPS PDC signals you can avoid the conseguences of any delays in broadcasting This adjustment is only valid for this programming session and for channels received via the aerial PR 9 Keep Memorise your programming by selecting Keep with the V key and confirming with the OK key e The Programming screen reappears Your programming is now displayed in the chronological list of programming already carried out On this screen it is only possible to display 5 programming sets from the maximum 16 If you have carried out more than 5 programmings to see the others press the A and Y k
