8. 106 12 Built in Camera Taking Multiple Shots This feature allows you to take up to nine continuous shots in sequence When you take multiple shots the icon will be displayed in the viewfinder 1 From camera mode press Options right softkey gt Fun Tools gt Multiple Shots Note When taking multiple shots the resolution is temporarily set to Low 240x320 2 Select an available option and press 3 Select the duration of the interval between shots Normal or Fast and press 4 Press Capture left softkey a or the Side Camera key to take the pictures The pictures will automatically be saved in your selected storage area and the Multiple Shots folder will be displayed up to nine thumbnail pictures per screen 5 Press Options right softkey to display picture options or press a B or the Side Camera key to return to camera mode to take another picture Selecting Camera Settings 1 From camera mode press Options right softkey gt Camera Settings 2 Select an option from the following and press Resolution to select a picture s file size 1 3M 960x1280 Medium 480x640 or Low 240x320 Quality to select the picture quality setting Fine Normal or Economy Shutter Sound to select a shutter sound Default Say Cheese Ready or Off Status Bar to switch the status bar display to On or Off Auto Save to to select the storage area for the pictures Cin Phone

Using Contacts Match The Contacts Match feature allows you to retrieve any number saved in your Contacts by entering only the last three to six digits of the number You need to activate this feature first to use it See Setting Contacts Match on page 47 To place a call using the Contacts Match feature 1 Enter the last three to six digits of a Contacts entry s phone number 2 Press or If there is more than one matched number in your Contacts the Contacts Match list is displayed 3 Select the name you want to call from the list and then press or to place a call 24 2 The Basics Making International Calls With Plus Code Dialling Your phone s plus code dialling feature can automatically dial the international access code when you are travelling outside of New Zealand Not available in some areas 1 From standby mode press and hold until a sign appears on the phone display 2 Enter the country code and phone number and press or GE Note To make an international call from inside New Zealand please dial 00 then enter the country code and phone number Entering Text Selecting a Character Input Mode Your phone provides convenient ways to enter words letters punctuation and numbers whenever you are prompted to enter text for example when adding a Contacts entry or when sending text messages 1 When you display a screen where you can enter text press Mode right softkey 2

19. a crew member to use your phone while the plane is on the ground Turning Off Your Phone in Dangerous Areas To avoid interfering with blasting operations turn your phone off when in a blasting area or in other areas with signs indicating two way radios should be turned off Construction crews often use remote control RF devices to set off explosives Turn your phone off when you are in any area that has a potentially explosive atmosphere Although it is rare your phone and accessories could generate sparks Sparks can cause an explosion or fire resulting in bodily injury or even death These areas are often but not always clearly marked They include Fuelling areas such as petrol stations Below deck on boats Fuel or chemical transfer or storage facilities e Areas where the air contains chemicals or particles such as grain dust or metal powders e Any other area where you would normally be advised to turn off your vehicle s engine Note Never transport or store flammable gas liquid or explosives in the compartment of your vehicle that contains your phone or accessories 1 Safety Guidelines Restricting Children s Access to Your Phone Your phone is not a toy Do not allow children to play with it as they could hurt themselves and others damage the phone or make calls that increase your telephone bill Protecting Your Battery The guidelines listed below help you get the most out of your battery s
