After setting up the code connectors on the transmitter you are ready to set the same code on the receivers A Remove the receiver from the electrical outlet before changing the code WARNING Onthe garage door receiver 4 I and wireless switch receiver pe remove the screw that holds 7 the connector covers and i F remove the covers You will see 10 connectors For connectors 1 to 9 the settings must match with those of the transmitter SL Connectors 1to9are the same BATTERY Connector 10 on the receiver should be set to if it is controlled by the transmitter s left button connector 10 on the receiver should be removed if it is controlled by the transmitter s right button Example if the left button is used to control the garage door receiver connector 10 on the garage door receiver should be set to If the right button is used to control the wireless switch receiver connector 10 on the wireless switch receiver should be removed 4 pape ep aaa TRANSMITTER Connector 10 set to Connector 10 Removed GARAGE DOOR RECEIVER 318R SW 318R WIRELESS SWITCH RECEIVER Put the cover and screw back onto the receivers Install the garage door receiver and wireless switch receicer based on previous illustrations on sections 2 and 4 Putthe battery cover back onto the transmitter i Press the left button on the transmitter to2. 3. ate the garage door receiver Activate this button will trigger the receiver therefore opens the garage door 3 TROUBLE SHOOTING Q Door opener does not react after pressing the button on the transmitter A Ensure when the button on the transmitter is pressed the red light on the transmitter comes on Otherwise check if the battery is inserted properly The left button on the transmitter should be pressed not the right button If the red light on the receiver flashes when you press the left button on the transmitter but the door opener does not respond please ensure the red black wire is successfully connected from the receiver to the wall mounted door control Ensure the wires that are previously connected to the wall mounted door control are not loose Ensure the code setting on the transmitter is the same as the receiver Refer to section 5 to check the code setting 4 INSTALLATION OF WIRELESS SWITCH RECEIVER Plug the receiver into a powered 120VAC electrical outlet i nside your house Note This receiver is designed to be usedindoor only Do not use this receiver in an outdoor environment Once the receiver is plugged into an electrical outlet the red LED on the front of the unit will be on indicating the unit is in standby mode wr Plug in the light fixture or small appliance i that you would like to control into the receiver as shown Ifthereisa power switch on th
4. e plugged i in light fixture or small appliance please J turn iton The receiver is ready to be activated D The right button on the transmitter has been programmed to operate the wireless switch receiver pressing the right button will turn on the plugged in device and the red LED onthe front will flash Caution When the red LED onthe unitis flashing that means output outlet is powered Do not disconnect con nect devices from to the receiver s outlet when the red LED is flashing 5 CHANGE THE OPERATION CODE FOR BOTH TRANSMITTER AND RECEIVERS Follow the instructions below if you want to change the operation code Pry off the battery cover of the trans mitter with a coin as shown You will see 9 connectors labeled from 1 to 9 as shown the connectors setting may not be the same as shown You can randomly remove some connectors leaving some in place A connector can be removed with the clip as shown If the connector is placed on the top and middle posts thatcolumn is seton If the connector is placed on the middle andbottom posts that column is set on If the connector is removed completely not diagram for examples of how to seta column to the three different positions column to 0 save the connector in gt j case you change the code at a later date lt Ha placed on any posts itis setto 0 see i ts ra When removing a connector to set a

8. r opener before WARNING installation to ensure power is not connected Remove the wall mounted door control from the wall by removing the screws Connect the stripped ends of the Red Black wire to the 2 terminals 2 screws on the back of the wall mounted door control Polarity does not matter Black wire sing A ies Note There should be another pair of wires connected to the 2 ra a terminals already Do not remove Ee A disconnect these existing wires Note If you see no screws mounting the wall mounted door control the screws are probably under neath the front cover Remove the front cover by pressing onto the tabs on top of the cover gla Remove front cover first Different wall mounted door controls 2 Plug in the connector end of the Red Black wire to the 318R receiver Note the orientation of the male amp femaleconnector Plug the receiver into an electrical outlet inside the garage The red light on the receiver should be on after being plugged into an electrical outlet Existing wires connected 4 to garage door opener Do not remove RECEIVER RED BLACK WIRE Note Alternative wiring options are available the receiver can be connected directly to the opener s motor Please contact customer service for further information regarding alternative wiring options Re connect the power cord of the Garage Door Opener The Left button on the transmitter has been programmed to oper
