7. below XACT Vehicle Kit Model Number XS071 XACT Home Kit Model Number XS072 The easiest way to activate your XACT XTR Sirius Satellite Radio Receiver is to log on to www sirius com You may also call 1 888 539 SIRIUS 7474 2 2 COMPONENTS GUIDE 3 4 XTR Portable Boom Box The XACT XTR Portable Boom Box provides two controls There is a Power On Off Volume control and a Slide function control to switch between Sirius Satellite Radio or auxiliary audio input signal 1 Headphone Jack A stereo headphone jack allows you to listen to your Sirius Satellite Radio privately 2 Release Mechanism Pull outward to remove the Satellite Receiver from the Boom Box 3 Power On Off Switch VOL Control Applies power to the Boom Box when rotated clockwise from the Off position increases or decreases the volume of the audio output signal from the Boom Box To decrease the volume level rotate the control counter clockwise 4 Power Indicator The Power On Off VOL Control Switch illuminates when the power is turned on 3 COMPONENTS GUIDE 4 Universal Portable Boom Box 5 Battery Doors Remove the doors to insert the 8 D Batteries not included 6 AUX OUT Jack In the SAT position the satellite radio audio signal is present at the AUX output jack 7 SAT AUX Selector switch The slide switch allows you to switch between Sirius Satellite Radio and an external audio input signal MP3 CD etc witch is present at

9. gnal is lost a pop up window with the message Acquiring Signal is displayed until the signal is recovered The LCD Displays Antenna not Detected When no antenna is detected and the signal is lost a pop up window with the message Antenna Not Detected is displayed until an antenna is detected and the signal is acquired Reception is weak or the audio has static and is unclear Check that the satellite antenna is connected and not faulty Change the location of the Antenna making sure it is away from obstructions see page 8 Make sure that the antenna is unwrapped from the Boom Box antenna mounts There is no sound from the speakers Make sure that any headphones are removed from the headphone jack Make sure the SAT AUX Selector switch is in correct position 10 11 CARE AND MAINTENANCE Periodic Inspection The XTR Boom Box should be inspected periodically for external damage At least once every 30 days of use perform the following checks Inspect the Boom Box connector for loose bent or broken pins misalignment etc make sure the SAT connector is intact and has no apparent damage Make sure the power jack at the rear of the unit is free from damage of any kind and that the adapter plug inserts correctly and securely Make sure the antenna jack at the rear of the unit is free from damage of any kind and that the antenna lead plug inserts correctly and securely Check the antenna for any phys
10. ical damage make sure the antenna lead is secure and not nicked or frayed Inspect the overall Boom Box for damage Cleaning the XTR Boom Box When cleaning the Boom Box make sure the AC Adapter is unplugged from the power source Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosol cleaners Use a lint free cloth lightly dampened with water for cleaning the exterior of Boom Box only 12 WARRANTY Warranty Information XACT Communication One Year Limited Warranty This limited warranty sets forth all XACT Communication responsibilities regarding your product There are no other expressed or implied warranties from XACT Communication Warranty Service Provided If you purchased the product new from a retail vendor XACT Communication warrants the equipment against defects in material and workmanship for a period of one 1 year from the original date of purchase This warranty is in lieu of all other express warranties This warranty begins when you purchase the product and continues for one 1 year unless you sell or rent the unit in which case the warranty stops XACT Communication disclaims any implied warranty including the warranty of merchantability and the warranty of fitness for a particular purpose as of the date of one year from your original purchase of the product XACT Communication assumes no responsibility for any special incidental or consequential damages This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may have oth
