ST ENTER _ gt ST MUNE Channel level setting The Auto MCACC feature see page 16 should give you the best surround sound setup However you may find that by further adjustment of the channel levels you can improve the surround sound in your listening room This method of setting the channel levels allows you to listen to a source and adjust the levels of each playback channel Note that the channel level settings for stereo playback are independent of the settings for surround sound playback A further method of setting the channel levels is to use the test tone method See Adjusting the channel levels using the test tone on page 25 for more on this 1 Select stereo or multichannel playback for a source 2 Press SETUP 3 Use the cursor left right buttons to select CH LEVEL then press ENTER 4 Use cursor left right to select a channel 4 cursor up down to adjust the level of that channel You can adjust the level of each channel by 10 dB f the system is in Stereo or Virtual mode or a stereo source is playing in Auto mode you will not be able to adjust the center or surround channels Note 5 Press ENTER when you re finished f you use the Auto MCACC feature again it will overwrite the settings you have made here Speaker distance setting The Auto MCACC feature see page 16 should give you the best surround sound setup However you may find that by further adj

12. plug can cause severe electrical shock Make sure it is properly disposed of after removal The equipment should be disconnected by removing the mains plug from the wall socket when left unused for a long period of time for example when on vacation D3 4 2 2 1a A En CAUTION The STANDBY ON switch on this unit will not completely shut off all power from the AC outlet Since the power cord serves as the main disconnect device for the unit you will need to unplug it from the AC outlet to shut down all power Therefore make sure the unit has been installed so that the power cord can be easily unplugged from the AC outlet in case of an accident To avoid fire hazard the power cord should also be unplugged from the AC outlet when left unused for a long period of time for example when on vacation D3 4 2 2 2a A En POWER CORD CAUTION Handle the power cord by the plug Do not pull out the plug by tugging the cord and never touch the power cord when your hands are wet as this could cause a short circuit or electric shock Do not place the unit a piece of furniture etc on the power cord or pinch the cord Never make a knot in the cord or tie it with other cords The power cords should be routed such that they are not likely to be stepped on A damaged power cord can cause a fire or give you an electrical shock Check the power cord once in a while When you find it damaged ask your nearest PIONEER authorized service cent
