The BUZZER alarm option will automatically replace the CD wake up track alarm if you have inserted a CD incorrectly inserted a damaged CD forgotten to insert any CD Reviewing the wake up CD track number is not possible during the REPEAT ALARM mode SETTING BUZZER MELODIES You can set 5 different melodies for both alarm 1 or 2 The buzzer melodies are set at a fixed volume and cannot be adjusted 1 Set the alarm time as described in steps 1 3 of Setting alarm 1 and 2 2 To select your buzzer melody hold down BUZZER and press SEARCH i or i repeadetly until you find the desired melody The buzzer melody and alarm number will be shown 3 To review your selected buzzer melody over the speakers press BUZZER 10 ALARM on off SWITCHING OFF THE ALARM There are three ways to switch off the alarm Unless you cancel the alarm completely the ALARM RESET will be automatically selected after 60 minutes from the time your alarm goes first off Alarm reset If you want the alarm mode to be stopped immediately but also wish to retain the same alarm setting for the following day 1 Press ALARM RESET You will hear a long beep tone to confirm that the ALARM RESET has been activated Repeat alarm This will repeat your alarm call at 10 minutes intervals 1 During the alarm call press REPEAT ALARM After 10 minutes the alarm will call again 2 You can press REPEAT ALA
5. button simultaneously English usifu3 ALARM on off SLUMBERING REFLECTION DETECTOR not all versions This detector which can detect objects placed within close range 15 cm maximum distance is located on the front of the set as an additional device for operating the REPEAT ALARM 1 During an alarm call place your hand in front of the set The alarm will be switched off for 10 minutes during which the display will flash Note The display will also flash if an alarm you have set is accidentally deactivated by objects within range of the reflection detector To prevent this from happening place a sticker over the reflection detector SLUMBER About slumber time The CD clock radio has a built in device called the slumber which enables the set to be automatically switched off during the RADIO or CD playback modes after a set period of time There are three slumber times 10 30 and 60 minutes before the set turns itself off During SLUMBER the radio or CD player is set to a lower volume If you wish to be woken by the alarm next day it may be necessary to adjust the volume to a higher volume before setting SLUMBER Setting the slumber 1 Press the CD gt or RADIO button For the CD mode make sure you have inserted a disc first 2 Select your slumber time by pressing the SLUMBER once or more once 60 minutes twice 30 minutes three times 10 minutes The word SLUMBER will app

RM again as often as desired The ALM 1 or 2 indicator e and in the display will flash throughout the time when REPEAT ALARM is active NOTES REPEAT ALARM for WAKE UP CD TRACK In standby mode Atthe set alarm time the normal clock display standby mode is interrupted The display flashes and shows in order CD mode total number of tracks of the inserted CD and the WAKE UP TRACK number before playing the WAKE UP first CD track When REPEAT ALARM is pressed the position of the WAKE UP CD track is memorized and playback stops The set goes to standby mode After 10 minutes the WAKE UP CD track will resume playback at the point interrupted by REPEAT ALARM To cancel the REPEAT ALARM and return to normal CD playback press the CD button During RADIO CD playback Basically the same happens except that the WAKE UP first CD track starts from the beginning each time you press REPEAT ALARM If you are playing a CD the current track will be interrupted at the alarm time and the track position memorized Playback from this position will resume when REPEAT ALARM is pressed Cancelling the alarm completely 1 To cancel the set alarm time before it goes off press the activated ALM 1 or 2 button and CD M OFF simultaneously The alarm indicator will disappear from the display 2 To cancel the alarm during a call first press ALARM RESET and then the activated ALM 1 or 2 and CD M OFF

ZZER or RADIO 4 Release the ALM 1 or 2 button An indicator will appear next to your selected alarm mode 5 To review the alarm time press your selected ALM 1 or 2 button IMPORTANT If you want the alarm to wake you up FIRST CHECK if you have adjusted the volume loud enough when using the CD wake up track radio alarm modes you have disconnected the headphones the loudspeakers are switched on if you are using amplified loudspeakers in the headphone socket L m pee m ee d usufiu3 ALARM on off SETTING THE WAKE UP TRACK You can programme and select a CD WAKE UP TRACK number between 1 99 when the set is in the standby mode or during CD playback However if the track number programmed does not exist on your CD the first track of the CD will be played during the alarm call 1 Insert a CD into the CD compartment 2 Press and hold down the selected ALM 1 or 2 button and set your alarm time using the SEARCH lt or controls 3 Before releasing ALARM press the CD button An indicator will appear next to the CD 4 Hold down the WAKE UP TRACK button and select your track number by pressing SEARCH m lt or 1 5 Release the WAKE UP TRACK and SEARCH or controls when you have found the desired track number 6 To review your programmed track number press WAKE UP TRACK again The wake up track and alarm number will be shown Note
