Rewind Power Off When the POWER button is pressed during rewind the VCR will turn off after rewind is complete REWIND POWER OFF appears on the screen Eject Cassette cassette may be ejected with power or off For record tab information refer to page 5 Auto Tracking Control With Auto Tracking there is usually no need for manual adjustments to minimize noise in playback for most tapes Auto Tracking continuously analyzes the signal to adjust for optimum picture quality for each recording However with some recordings you may get a better result using the TRACKING UP DOWN buttons Manual Tracking Controls Press the TRACKING UP DOWN button Use Manual Tracking adjustment during playback slow motion and double speed playback to minimize noise in the picture Also use these buttons to reduce jitter in a still picture Once you make this adjustment you probably will not have to do it again unless you select Still mode while playing a tape recorded on a different VCR To cancel manual tracking stop the tape eject the tape then re insert it Each time a tape is inserted automatic tracking is engaged You can also cancel manual tracking by simultaneously pressing the VCR s CH annel UP and CH Down buttons R MUTE VCR POWER C2 VOLUME TV CHANNEL REW SEARCH FF SEARCH FRAME ADVANCE PAUSE STILL VCR CH 2 MENU Button NUMBER Buttons T
