Cigarette Lighter Jack Make sure your vehicle has a 13 2 volt negative ground electrical system Unplug the AC power cords of the VCP and the TV 2 Connect one end of the car battery cord to the 13 2V Jack on the back of the VCP Do not watch TV while driving 3 Use only the supplied car battery cord Using another cord could dam Connect the other end of the car battery cord to the ciga age the VCP or cause faulty opera rette lighter jack in your vehicle tion Make sure the cigarette lighter jack is free of ashes and other debris M ake sure you push the car battery Follow step 3 on page seven to connect the VCP to a TV cord s plug completely into the ciga rette lighter jack 5 Always unplug the car battery cord from the cigarette lighter jack before you unplug it from the VCP You must disconnect the car battery cord from the VCP before you can use standard AC electrical power If the vehicle s engine is off there will not be enough electrical voltage to operate the VCP Unplug the car battery cord from the cigarette lighter jack when you have finished using the VCP Connect the TV to a DC power source The TV must have an AC DC Jack 12 Remote Control Buttons EJECT Button Press to eject the tape POWER Button Press to turn the VCP on or off AEJECT de TRACKING Up Down Buttons D uring tape playback press to adjust the tracking manually Details are on page 19 Press to remove vertical j
