CD in the compartment the unit will play the first track of the CD instead CD wake up track Buzzer e Press and hold WAKE UP TRACK e briefly press ALARM 1 or ALARM 2 to select the alarm The display shows the selected alarm and the track e Adjust the required track number by pressing Dhl or or CD STOP OFF The display shows the selected alarm and the selected wake up track e Release the WAKE UP TRACK button SETTING BUZZER MELODIES e You can set 5 different buzzer melodies for both ALARM 1 and ALARM 2 e Keep the BUZZER button pressed and select ALARM 1or ALARM 2 to set the buzzer melody e The display will show the alarm number and the buzzer melody number e To increase the buzzer melody number press DH and to decrease the melody number press K e Press the BUZZER button during stand by mode to hear the selected melody over the speakers NOTE It is recommended to use two different buzzer melodies for the two alarms in order to distinguish the alarms if both are set to the buzzer alarm mode English ysi6u3 Alarm on off ALARM OFF You can switch off the alarm in three ways Switching off the alarm for 10 minutes e Press the REPEAT ALARM button After 10 minutes the alarm radio CD or buzzer will sound again If you repeat this operation the same will happen l AL 47312 If the ALARM RESET button is not pressed the alarm will switch itself off
3. after 60 minutes The following day the alarm signal will sound again at the set alarm time Switching off the alarm for 24 hours e Press ALARM RESET to switch off the alarm for 24 hours You will hear a beep tone to remind you that the alarm will not sound again until the next day Switching off the alarm completely e Press ALARM 1 ALARM 2 and CD STOP OFF to completely disable the alarm The alarm indicator will disappear from the display NOTE Make sure the volume of the radio or the CD player is loud enough to wake you up NOTE When using the alarm function make sure the headphones are disconnected f amplified loudspeakers are connected make sure that the loudspeakers are switched on The buzzer alarm sound is at a fixed volume 10 TF FT n gt gt If the alarm mode is set to CD and the unit is in standby or radio mode the following will happen At alarm time the current mode standby or radio aborts and the CD starts at the beginning of the wake up track When the REPEAT ALARM button is pressed playback stops and the set will resume to radio or standby mode After 10 minutes the CD will start playback where it stopped when REPEAT ALARM was pressed If the alarm mode is set to CD and the CD is in playing mode just before the alarm will sound the following will happen At alarm time the current position of the CD will be memorized and the CD w

CD STOP OFF M K CHANGING CD TRACKS 1 Selecting another track during play Press briefly D go to the next track e You can jump to the next track by briefly pressing Mi once e f you want to skip more than one track then briefly press PN more than once until the display shows the desired track number KX go to the previous track e f you want to repeat the current track from the beginning briefly press KN once e f you want to repeat one of the previous tracks briefly press K more than once until the display shows the required track number CD player Radio 2 Search during play During PLAY MODE press M or R to search forwards or backwards Release the button as soon as you recognize the required passage The CD will continue to play normally from this passage onwards If the button is pressed for longer than 5 seconds the search speed will increase RADIO Switch the radio on by pressing RADIO The radio indication appears on the display Select the waveband with the BAND SELECTOR Select the required station with the TUNING knob You may have to adjust the position of the CD clock radio slightly for optimal reception For FM reception there is a wire aerial at the rear of the set This wire must be extended and if necessary adjusted lightly in order to obtain good reception The AM aerial is built into the set To obtain optimum reception you may have to adjust the position of the set

12. ill start playback at the beginning of the wake up track When REPEAT ALARM is pressed the set will start playback of the CD where the track was stopped After 10 minutes the current position of the CD is memorized again and the CD starts playback at the beginning of the wake up track ee ee ee ee A a ee dre eS A X e 7 Slumbering SLUMBER TIME The CD clock radio has a built in slumber function With this function you can continue to listen to the CD or the radio while falling asleep You do not need to switch off the radio yourself This happens automatically The period during which you continue to listen to the CD or the radio is called the slumber time You can set this yourself The maximum slumber time is 60 minutes Slumber time Slumber time can only be set at CD or radio mode not activated by alarms e Press CD or RADIO e If you wish to slumber for 60 minutes you should simply press the SLUMBER button e f you wish to slumber for less than 60 minutes then press SLUMBER twice for 30 minutes three times for 10 minutes e The slumber indication will appear on the display e ifthe slumber button is pressed when the slumber function is active the display will show the remaining slumber time Slumber off e Press SLUMBER until the slumber indication disappears from the display NOTE If CD has been selected as an alarm function and the CD is damaged or inse

18. slightly Switch the radio off by pressing CD STOP OFF Alarm ALARM TIME If you wish to use the alarm then you should first of all set the alarm time You may set two different alarm times General e If the bH or K button is pressed once the alarm time will increase or decrease by one minute e f the Pi or K button is pressed for more than 0 5 seconds the alarm time will increase or decrease by about 6 minutes per second e f the D or Nd button is pressed for more than 5 seconds the alarm time will increase or decrease by about 60 minutes per second Setting alarm time 1 e Keep ALARM 1 button pressed and set the required alarm time with the bil and K buttons The display will show the set alarm time Select the required alarm source by pressing CD RADIO or BUZZER once Release the ALARM 1 button The indicators will show that the alarm is activated Setting alarm time 2 e Keep ALARM 2 button pressed and follow the same procedure as in setting alarm time 1 CD WAKE UP TRACK The CD wake up track number is a CD track number between 01 and 99 which can be set ioi both ALARM 1and ALARM 2 e Press and hold the WAKE UP TRACK button e Select ALARM 1 or ALARM 2 to program the wake up track e Once CD has been programmed for ALARM 1 or ALARM 2 a particular track number can be selected for the CD to start with at the set alarm time NOTE if the selected CD track number does not exist on the
