READ AND UNDERSTAND THESE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE INSTALLING FIXTURE This fixture is intended for installation in accordance with the National Electrical Code and local regulations To assure full compliance with local codes and regulations check with your local electrical inspector before installation To prevent electrical shock turn off electricity at fuse box before proceeding Retain these instructions for maintenance reference 1292 INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTALLATION OF RADIANCE PENDANT FIXTURES FIXTURE ASSEMBLY AND INSTALLATION 1 Carefully remove CENTER STEM ASSEMBLY from packing 2 Gently pull downward on CANOPY to disengage from CROSSBAR SPRING CLIPS and expose CROSSBAR 3 Mount CROSSBAR and CENTER STEM ASSEMBLY to OUTLET BOX using OUTLET BOX SCREWS provided with outlet box 4 Adjust SWIVEL CASTING For sloped ceiling applications loosen UPPER LOCK NUT and tum SWIVEL CASTING until U SHAPED opening in SWIVEL is parallel to ceiling plane This procedure can also be used if re orientation of SWIVEL CASTING is desired on non sloped ceilings NOTE Fixture should only be mounted to ceilings having a maximum slope of 45 or less Make electrical connections black fixture lead or fixture lead without tracer marks to hot black supply lead white fixture lead or fixture lead with tracer mark to neutral white supply lead Uninsulated bare fixture wire is a ground and must be connected to a grounding terminal or wire in OUTLET BOX Use WIRENUTS
