NE 1 Select the desired dialing mode with the TONE PULSE switch do this only the first time after installation Press the SPEAKERPHONE button to get dial tone no need to lift the HANDSET Adjust the VOLUME CONTROL on the right side of the phone Dial your call To hang up press SPEAKERPHONE button again To switch the conversation from speakerphone to private simply lift the HANDSET or use the HEADSET included If you start your conversation with the HANDSET and you want to switch to speaker phone press the SPEAKERPHONE button and replace HANDSET Remember to hang up by pressing the SPEAKERPHONE button again If you start your conversation with the HEADSET and you want to switch to speaker phone just plug the HEADSET out of the jack NOTE 1 Be sure to notify the other party that you are using the speakerphone mode the other party may not wish anyone else to hear the conversation NOTE 2 Adjust the SPEAKERPHONE VOLUME CONTROL to the desired sound level while the other party is talking If a squealing or whistling sound is heard reduce the speakerphone volume setting ANSWERING CALLS WITH HEADSET 1 Insert the HEADSET plug into the HEADSET jack on the right side of the phone as described on the previous page When the phone rings press the SPEAKERPHONE button Adjust the VOLUME CONTROL on the right side of the phone When you finished the conversation press SPEAKERPHONE button again AKING CALLS WITH HEADS
