11. b Power Switch Figure 1 REGULATING THERMOSTAT OPERATION 1 Set Regulating Thermostat Knob to the high setting Before adjusting the regulating thermostat allow Heater to operate and warm up the room 2 When the desired temperature comfort level is reached lower the thermostat setting until a click is heard This is done by moving the Regulating Thermostat Knob towards the Low setting O The regulating thermostat will now be adjusted in the low setting 3 It is normal for the Heater to cycle between high and low wattage as it maintains the room temperature NOTE The fan motor speed does not change when the Heater is cycling between high and low heat When the Power Switch is ON illuminated the Heater is constantly delivering heated air To turn the Heater OFF press the o on the Power Switch Figure 1 5812ES MODEL 5812 SAFETY FEATURES 1 A Tip Over Switch is built in to prevent operation if the Heater is tipped over 2 A thermal overload protector is built in to prevent overheating 3 If an overheat temperature is reached the Heater will automatically shut off It can only resume operation when the user resets the unit To Reset Heater 1 Unplug the Heater and wait 10 minutes for the Heater to cool down 2 After the Heater has cooled down plug the unit into a 120V electrical outlet and follow the operation instructions described in this manual TROUBLE SHOOTING TIPS If your h
