1. Operation Insert the plug into the wall socket gt Switch the hair dryer on with the blower level switch The hair dryer is fitted with two function switches With these you can separately select the strength of the air flow Blower switch and the level of heat Heat level switch Blower levels 0 The hair dryer is switched off reduced air flow II maximum air flow Heat levels cold air flow lower heat level eeo maximum heat level With the cool level switch Cool Shot you can produce a cooler air flow with every combination of blower and heat levels After use switch the appliance off by moving the blower switch into the position 0 Then remove the plug from the wall socket Drying and styling hair To quickly dry hair we recommend first of all using a high blower and heater setting for a short period Afterwards place the settings at a lower level to shape and form the hair With the enclosed styling et which can be turned to all positions you can studiously use the air flow for styling If you wish to dry your hair particulary gently or for the so called air dryed permanent wave use the finger diffusor gt For this first of all remove the styling jet then replace it with the finger diffusor E Before you comb your hair out allow it to cool so that the styling retains its form For cooling the hair you can use the switch Cool Shot2. or level of the heat level switch O Attention First pack and transport the hair dryer when it has completely cooled down Otherwise it could damage other items Cleaning A Danger of electrical shock ALWAYS remove the plug from the power socket before cleaning the hair dryer Cleaning the housing To clean the housing use a soft cloth moistened with a mild soapy solution Cleaning the air suction grill Risk of Fire Clean the air suction grill at regular intervals with a soft brush Press the air suction grill together from above and below so that you can release it from the hair dryer Clean the openings of the air suction grill with a soft brush 5 Insert the upper securing lug of the air suction grill into the guide on the hair dryer Then press the lower securing lug into the hair dryer until the air suction grill audibly engages A Danger of an electrical shock After being cleaned the hair dryer must be com pletely dry before using it again Troubleshooting Should your hair dryer not function as expected first remove the plug from the wall socket and allow the appliance to cool down for a few minutes The appliance is fitted with an overheating protector Should the appliance still not function consult the service department detailed on the Warranty card Disposal Do not dispose of the appliance in your A subject to the European guideline 2002
