HANDHELD CONTROL HEAD INSTRUCTION MANUAL KCH 16 THANK YOU We are grateful you have chosen Kenwood for your mobile applications We believe this easy to use handheld control head will provide dependable communications to keep personnel operating at peak efficiency Only basic operations are explained in this instruction manual For a detailed explanation on the operations refer to the Transceiver s instruction manual FEATURES The KCH 16 is a full control optional microphone for use with the TK 5710 5810 P25 FM analog Dual Mode transceiver By connecting the KCH 16 to the optional KRK 11 handheld control head interface kit you can control the transceiver using the microphone in the same way that the KCH 14 15 can be used NOTICES TO THE USER Government law prohibits the operation of unlicensed transmitters within the territories under government control Illegal operation is punishable by fine and or imprisonment Refer service to qualified technicians only One or more of the following statements may be applicable FCC WARNING This equipment generates or uses radio frequency energy Changes or modifications to this equipment may cause harmful interference unless the modifications are expressly approved in the instruction manual The user could lose the authority to operate this equipment if an unauthorized change or modification is made INFORMATION TO THE DIGITAL DEVICE USER REQUIRED BY THE F
