MEE TAI Installation Instructions PART NUMBER HA 4503 This filter fits HONDA CRF450 Congratulations you have purchased the finest air filter that money can buy With proper care this filter can last many seasons This filter can be used in a stock machine with no modifications required However if any engine modifications have been mode tuning jetting adjustments may required However the following procedure MUST be followed to ensure a proper fit and seal of the K amp N Filtercharger 1 Remove OE air filter according to your owners manual 2 Clean all sealing surfaces of the air box 3 Using the supplied grease apply a liberal amount of grease between the bump seals on the base of the air filter Fig 1 4 Install air filter into the air box NOTE To fit air filter between frame gently squeeze air filter to fit Not a lot of pressure will be required Use caution when doing this as damage to air filter may occur 5 Using the supplied grease apply grease to the sealing surface of the X Stream top Fig 2 5 Add rubber and steel washer to the stock wing bolt Steel washer should be on top of rubber washer Fig 3 7 Install wing bolt and X Stream top onto air filter NOTE For proper fitment you may need to start the wing bolt before seating X Stream top onto filter Fig 4 8 Tighten wing bolt THESE INSTRUCTIONS MUST BE FOLLOWED EVERY TIME THE FILTER IS SERVICED OTHERWISE THE FILTER MAY NOT SEAL AND DAMAGE TO T
