5. te easy cleaning 6 Solid easy clean hotplate surfaces Operating Your Portable Hotplate aus Your Portable Hotplate Place the hotplate on a dry level heat resistant surface 2 Insert the power cord into a 230V or 240V power outlet Switch on at the power outlet 3 Place the cooking vessel ie saucepan in which the food will be cooked on the hotplate On the double hotplate model KHP2 use the most appropriate sized hotplate 4 Select the desired temperature setting using the temperature control dial The temperature settings are adjustable on a scale of 1 min to 4 max 5 The red power ON indicator light will illuminate to indicate the hotplate is on and heating 6 To switch the hotplate off turn the selection knob to the 0 position 7 Switch off at the power outlet and unplug the power cord WARNING Always keep in mind that the hotplates after being switched off continue to radiate residual heat for a certain period of time WARNING To achieve optimum performance ensure the diameter of the cooking pot or pan is no larger than the diameter of the hotplate WARNING No more than 5 litres of water can be boiled at anytime It is recommended to use a lid when boiling water Care Cleaning and Storage Maintaining Your Portable Hotplate Switch the hotplate OFF at the power outlet and then remove the power cord Ensure the hotplate has completely c
