Do not use abrasive products e Clean the glass part of the oven door using a sponge and a non abrasive cleaning product then dry thoroughly with a soft cloth Do not use rough abrasive material or sharp metal scrapers as these could scratch the surface and cause the glass to crack e The accessories can be washed like everyday crockery and are even dishwasher safe e Dirt and grease should be removed from the control panel using a non abrasive sponge or a soft cloth Inspecting the oven seals Check the door seals around the oven regularly If the seals are damaged please contact your nearest After sales Service Centre We recommend that the oven is not used until the seals have been replaced Replacing the oven light bulb 1 After disconnecting the oven from the electricity mains remove the glass lid covering the lamp socket see figure 2 Remove the light bulb and replace it with a similar one voltage 230 V wattage 25 W cap E 14 3 Replace the lid and reconnect the oven to the electricity supply Do not use the oven lamp as for ambient lighting Cleaning the glass ceramic hob Do not use abrasive or corrosive detergents for example products in spray cans for cleaning barbecues and ovens stain removers anti rust products powder detergents or sponges with abrasive surfaces these may scratch the surface beyond repair e It is usually sufficient simply to wash the hob using a damp sponge and dry it
5. according to the instructions provided Any necessary adjustment or maintenance must be performed after the cooker has been disconnected from the electricity supply Positioning and levelling It is possible to install the appliance alongside Cupboards whose height does not exceed that of the hob surface Make sure that the wall in contact with the beck of the appliance is made from a non flammable heat resistant material T 90 C To install the appliance correctly e Place it in the kitchen dining room or the bed sit not in the bathroom e f the top of the hob is higher than the cupboards the appliance must be installed at least 200 mm away from them e f the cooker is installed underneath a wall cabinet there must be a minimum distance of 420 mm between this cabinet and the top of the hob This distance should be increased to 700 mm if the wall cabinets are Min 600 mm m Min 420mm Min 420mm min 650 mm with hood min 700 mm without hood flammable see figure e Do not position blinds behind the cooker or less than 200 mm away from its sides e Any hoods must be installed according to the instructions listed in the relevant operating manual Levelling If it is necessary to level the appliance screw the adjustable feet into the places provided on each corner of the base of the cooker see figure The legs fit into the slots on the underside of the
6. base of the cooker t UL Electrical connection Electric cookers come without a power supply cable The cooker is designed to operate on an electricity supply which conforms to the electrical data shown on the Rating Plate The cooker can be connected to the mains only after removing the back panel of the cooker itself with a screwdriver N B the following installation procedure must be carried out by a qualified electrician The electrical installation must comply with the IEE Regulations Building amp local By Lays For the installation of the feeding cable carry out the following operations e Unscrew screw V see fig A e Pull and open the junction blok lid Important the wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following code Green amp Yellow Earth Blue Neutral Brown Live As the colours of the wires in the mains lead may not correspond with the coloured markings identifying the terminals in your plug proceed as follows Green amp Yellow wire to terminal marked E or or coloured Green or Green amp Yellow Brown wire to terminal marked L or coloured Red Blue wire to terminal marked N or coloured Black see fig B e fix the feeding cable in the special cable stop and close the cover N B the power supply cable must have these minimum requirements Type HOSRRF po Car HO5VV F

19. n be marked by hard water that has been left on the surface for a long time or by aggressive detergents that contain phosphorus We recommend that the steel surfaces are rinsed well then dried thoroughly Assistance Please have the following information handy e The appliance model Mod e The serial number S N This information can be found on the data plate located on the appliance and or on the packaging 1 inpesit Removing and fitting the oven door WARNING Oven must not be operated with inner cB 1 Open the door door glass removed 2 Make the hinge clamps of the oven door rotate backwards completely see photo WARNING When reassembling the inner door glass insert the glass panel correctly so that the text written on the panel is not reversed and can be easily legible 7 Replace the profile a click will indicate that the part is positioned correctly 8 Open the door completely 9 Close the supports see photo 3 Close the door until the clamps stop the door will remain open for 40 approx see photo 10 Now the door can be completely closed and the oven can be started for normal use 4 Press the two buttons on the upper profile and extract the profile see photo Steam Assisted Oven Cleaning This method of cleaning is recommended especially after cooking very fatty roasted meats This cleaning process allows to facilitate the removal of dirt of the walls of the oven by the generation
20. of steam that is created inside the oven cavity for easier cleaning Important Before you start steam cleaning Remove any food residue and grease from the bottom of the oven Remove any oven accessories grids and drip pans 5 Remove the glass sheet and do the cleaning as a Perform the above operations according to the followin indicated in chapter Care and maintenance P g g procedure 1 pour 300m of water into the baking tray in the oven placing it in the bottom shelf In the models where the drip pan is not present use a baking sheet and place it on the grill at the bottom shelf 2 select the function of the oven BOTTOM __ and set the temperature to 100 C 3 keep it in the oven for 15min 4 turn off the oven 5 Once cooled the oven you can open the door to complete the cleaning with water and a damp cloth 6 eliminate any residual water from the cavity after finishing cleaning 6 Replace the glass 11 When the steam cleaning is done after cooking especially fatty foods or when grease is difficult to remove you may need to complete the cleaning with the traditional method described in the previous paragraph Perform cleaning only in the cold oven Respecting and conserving the environment e Whenever possible avoid pre heating the oven and always try to fill it Open the oven door as little as possible because heat is lost every time it is opened To save a substantia
21. on top of the pizza halfway through the cooking process WARNING The oven is provided with a stop system to extract the racks and prevent them from coming out of the oven 1 As shown in the drawing to extract them completely simply lift the racks holding them on the front part and pull 2 Using the glass ceramic hob The glue applied on the gaskets leaves traces of grease on the glass Before using the appliance we recommend you remove these with a special non abrasive cleaning product During the first few hours of use there may be a smell of rubber which will disappear very quickly Switching the cooking zones on and off To switch on a cooking zone turn the corresponding knob in a clockwise direction To switch it off again turn the knob in an anticlockwise direction until it is in the O position If the ELECTRIC HOTPLATE ON indicator light is lit this shows that at least one hotplate on the hob is switched on Cooking zones The hob is equipped with electric radiant heating elements When they are in use the following items on the hob become red A The cooking zone Va a B The residual heat indicator ee 7 light this indicates that the z p temperature of the A A C an corresponding cooking zone is greater than 60 C even when the heating element has been switched off but is still hot Cooking zones with radiant heating elements They have similar properties to
22. surface It should be noted that this function does not allow the maximum temperature to be reached inside the oven 250 C and it is therefore not recommended that foods are cooked using only this setting unless you are baking cakes which should be baked at a temperature of 180 C or lower vy OVEN TOP mode The top heating element is activated The extremely high and direct temperature of the grill makes it possible to brown the surface of meats and roasts while locking in the juices to keep them tender 777 GRILL mode The top heating element is activated The grill is also highly recommended for dishes that require a high surface temperature beef steaks veal rib steak fillets hamburgers etc Important When using the grill the oven door must be left partly open Practical cooking advice In the GRILL cooking mode place the dripping pan in position 1 to collect cooking residues fat and or grease GRILL e Insert the rack in position 3 or 4 Place the food in the centre of the rack e We recommend that the power level is set to maximum The top heating element is regulated by a thermostat and may not always operate constantly PIZZA e Use a light aluminium pizza pan Place it on the rack provided For a crispy crust do not use the dripping pan as it prevents the crust from forming by extending the total cooking time e f the pizza has a lot of toppings we recommend adding the mozzarella cheese
23. ted separately in order to optimise the cost of re using and recycling the materials inside the machine while preventing potential damage to the atmosphere and to public health The crossed out dustbin is marked on all products to remind the owner of their obligations regarding separated waste collection Exhausted appliances may be collected by the public waste collection service taken to suitable collection areas in the area or if permitted by current national legislation they may be returned to the dealers as part of an exchange deal for a new equivalent product All major manufacturers of household appliances participate in the creation and organisation of systems for the collection and disposal of old and disused appliances Care and maintenance Switching the appliance off Disconnect your appliance from the electricity supply before carrying out any work on it Never use steam cleaners or pressure cleaners on the appliance Cleaning the oven e The stainless steel or enamel coated external parts and the rubber seals may be cleaned using a sponge that has been soaked in lukewarm water and neutral soap Use specialised products for the removal of stubborn stains After cleaning rinse and dry thoroughly Do not use abrasive powders or corrosive substances e The inside of the oven should ideally be cleaned after each use while it is still lukewarm Use hot water and detergent then rinse well and dry with a soft cloth
