1. a numan touch errr senha REPLACING THE ARMREST HT 5020 November 22 2010 It is imperative that Human Touch products are repaired in a manner that ensures product safety and regulatory compliance and that is fully consistent with the practices used during the manufacturing process Therefore Human Touch requires that all product repairs are performed using only factory new parts and in accordance with these repair instructions Failure to adhere to these instructions voids the product warranty and releases Human Touch from all liability for injury or product damage resulting from the repair SERVICE LEVEL 3 Tools Required 5 mm Allen wrench flat head screwdriver NOTE SAVE ALL PARTS FOR USE DURING REASSEMBLY REMOVING THE ARMREST Power off the chair then unplug it A 5 1 2 Remove all pads from the chair Fig 1 3 Using a 5 mm Allen wrench remove the two Allen screws washers that secure the armrest to the seat frame Fig 2 4 Lift up on the armrest to remove it from the chair Fig 2 Allen bolt Armrest 5 mm Allen wrench Fig 1 INSTALLING THE NEW ARMREST A pS I Align the armrest post with the corresponding fittings on the chair frame Fig 3 Align the metal shift lever rod with the plastic bushing on the armrest then insert the rod into the bushing as you push the armrest downward into position Fig 4 Replace the two Allen screws washers you removed earlier to secur2. e the armrest to the chair Plug in the chair power it on then verify that the recline lever is working properly If it is not the shift lever rod is not properly installed into the plastic bushing or the armrest posts are not properly installed in the fittings Repeat steps 1 and 2 repeat step 2 Ol Replace the chair pads Fittings on the chair frame Armrest Fig 3 Please send any questions or comments regarding these instructions to 2010 Human Touche LLC Align shift lever rod with plastic bushing l ar Shift lever rod I5 Plastic bushing Fig 4 documentation humantouch com human touch
