January 03 2011 I f human touche a REPLACING THE POWER PANEL It is imperative that Human Touch products are repaired in a manner that ensures product safety and regulatory compliance and that is fully consistent with the practices used during the manufacturing process Therefore Human Touch requires that all product repairs are performed using only factory new parts and in accordance with these repair SERVICE LEVEL 2 instructions Failure to adhere to these instructions voids the product warranty and releases Human Touch from all liability for injury or product damage resulting from the repair Tools Required Phillips head screwdriver flat head screwdriver SAVE ALL REMOVED PARTS FOR USE DURING REASSEMBLY REMOVING THE POWER PANEL 1 Turn the power switch on the power panel to OFF and unplug the chair Ga Tip the chair gently forward until the backrest is resting on the floor Fig 1 Using a Phillips head screwdriver remove the four screws from the inside of the power panel Fig 2 Detach the power panel from the chair to expose the connectors Fig 3 Disconnect the two sets of connectors Fig 3 Fig 1 Using a flat head screwdriver remove the screw that secures the green grounding wire to the chair Fig 3 Naa FWD Remove the power panel from the chair j i Connectors 9 7 o A Green grounding wire o o Ca Power panel Power panel outside Power panel ins2. ide Fig 2 Fig 3 INSTALLING THE NEW POWER PANEL Holding the new power panel next to the chair base connect the two sets of power panel connectors to the corresponding connectors on the chair base Using a flat head screwdriver and screw attach the green grounding wire to the chair using the threaded screw hole as shown Position the power panel firmly into place then secure it using the four screws Tip the chair gently back to an upright position Plug in the chair and power it on Aa fF Wry Verify that the chair is now receiving power and that the remote control is working properly Please send any questions or comments regarding these instructions to documentation humantouch com E 2011 Human Touch LLC humantouch 2
