1. garage or any enclosed area because carbon monoxide may accumulate and cause serious personal injury or death 2 ALWAYS USE THE STOVE IN AN OPEN AREA AWAY FROM BUILDINGS DRY LEAVES OR BRUSH Be aware of wind blown sparks 3 AVOID HIGH PEDESTRIAN TRAFFIC AREAS Do not allow people or pets to conduct any activities near the Stove while the unit is in use or following its use The Stove body is hot during the period of use and will remain hot for a period of time after its use 4 NEVER USE GASOLINE KEROSENE OR OTHER HIGHLY VOLATILE FLUIDS AS A STARTER AS THEY CAN EXPLODE 5 NEVER ATTEMPT TO MOVE A HOT STOVE 6 MAKE SURE ALL PARTS OF THE STOVE ARE FIRMLY IN PLACE AND THE STOVE IS POSITIONED ON A FLAT LEVEL FIRE RETARDING SURFACE 44894 REV 02d 071 Page 3 7 NEVER LEAVE THE STOVE UNATTENDED ONCE IT IS LIT 8 DO NOT CLEAN THE STOVE WITH CLEANERS THAT ARE COMBUSTIBLE OR CORROSIVE 9 MAKE SURE THE PROPANE CYLINDER IS DISCONNECTED FROM THE UNIT WHEN THE STOVE IS NOT IN USE 10 NEVER SMOKE WHILE ATTEMPTING TO LIGHT THE STOVE MAKE SURE ALL SURROUNDING FLAMES ARE EXTINGUISHED 11 USE BAKING SODA TO CONTROL A GREASE FIRE AND HAVE A FIRE EXTIN GUISHER HANDY A bucket of sand or a garden hose should be near if you do not have a commercial extinguisher 12 ALWAYS CHECK THE MALE CONNECTION THREADS ON THE LPG PROPANE CYLINDER AND THE FEMALE CONNECTION THREADS ON THE GAS VALUE ASSEM BLY PART 5 OF THE STOVE FOR DAMAGE I
2. 4 Screw in the Gas Valve Assembly 5 firmly with the Valve Handle 7 on top 5 The stove is ready to be hooked up to the L P regulator and L P tank To Attach An LPG Gas Cylinder To The Stove 1 Make sure the Gas Valve Assembly Valve Handles part 7 are in its locked OFF position Valve Handle faces sideways before attaching the LPG propane cylinder to the Stove 2 Attach the LPG propane cylinder outdoors away from pilot lights flames sparks or other ignition sources 3 Hand tighten clockwise the LPG propane cylinder onto the Gas Valve Assembly part 5 of the Stove Never use tools to tighten 4 Check for gas leaks in one or more ways Apply soapy water to all connections and look for bubbles Listen for the hiss of escaping gas Feel the LPG propane cylinder for extreme cold Smell for a rotten egg odor Do not use the Stove if gas is leaking 44894 REV 02d Page 5 To Operate the Stove Warning Before operation make sure the stove is on a flat level surface capable of support ing weight of the stove and items to be heated 1 As an alternative to using a match an electric solid metal chimney or other starter specifi cally made for lighting propane fueled stoves from a distance is recommended for use 2 Place a lit match or alternative starter device next to the Burner part 2 3 To ignite the Burner part 2 slightly open the Valve Handle part 7 4 Remove the start

5. er device immediately after the Burner part 2 ignites 5 To shut off the Stove turn the Valve Handle part 7 sideways 6 Allow sufficient time for Stove to completely cool before removing the LPG propane cylinder 7 To remove the LPG propane cylinder unscrew the canister from the Gas Valve Assembly part 5 in a counterclockwise direction To Store the Stove 1 When not in use the Stove should be stored and locked up in a dry location to inhibit rust Always allow sufficient time for the Stove to completely cool before storing Keep out of reach of children 2 When storing the LPG propane cylinder must be removed from the Stove The LPG pro pane cylinder should be stored indoors in a well ventilated area above ground level 3 Always make sure the Valve Handle part 7 is in the OFF positon after each use to prevent accidents CLEANING AND INSPECTION NOTE ALWAYS disconnect the LPG propane cylinder from the unit and allow the Stove to completely cool before performing any cleaning maintenance or repair 1 Clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent and dry 44894 REV 02d Page 6 Parts List 2 1 2 B 6 Adjustable Screw Valve Handle Note L P regulator and L P tank not included NOTE Some parts are listed and shown for illustration purposes only and are not available individually as replacement parts PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY THE MANUFACTURER AND OR D
6. f you suspect damage to the propane cylinder return the cylinder to the gas distributor and have it replaced If you suspect damage to the Gas Valve Assembly discontinue using the Stove and contact Harbor Freight Tools fora replacement Gas Valve Assembly 13 TURN OFF AND HAVE A QUALIFED TECHNICIAN CHECK THE STOVE IMMEDI ATELY IF ANY OF THE FOLLOWING EXISTS a The smell of gas in conjunction with extreme yellow tipping of the burner flames b The Stove does not reach temperature c The burner makes a popping noise during use A slight popping noise is normal when the burner is extinghished 14 This stove is designed to be used and operated on Low Pressure Gas Propane usually found in a gas cylinder like the type used on gas barbecues 15 This stove will not operate at the gas pressure coming from an L P gas cylinder An L P regulator set at 11 Water Column is needed to properly operate the stove L P Regulator and Hose Kits such as Hurricane Products item 33447 are available from Harbor Freight Tools Your local L P gas supplier can assist you in setting up and using the L P Regulator 16 Before each use always check all gas connections and joints to make sure no leaks are present Check hoses for cracks and wear and replace a damaged hose 17 The lit burner should operate with a blue flame with a small yellow tip Adjust the air screw if the flame is sputtering or popping If the flame is not operating normally s
7. hut off the gas valve before checking to see if anything is obstructing the gas flow Do not operate the Propane Stove if you feel that it is not operating in a normal fashion 18 Do not use or store any flammable liquid or material in the area surrounding the Propane stove 44894 REV 02d Page 4 19 If while using this product you notice a gas odor IMMEDIATELY SHUT OFF THE GAS FUELING THIS PRODUCT Extinguish all open flames and carefully check for leaks by using soapy water If the odor continues do not use the propane stove Call your gas supplier for assistance 20 Never reach across the stove when cooking Be aware that all parts of the stove become very hot when in operation 21 Never allow children to use the propane stove Keep children away from the stove when in use The stove is very hot immediately after being used Unpacking When unpacking check to make sure the parts shown below are included If any parts are missing or broken please call Harbor Freight Tools at the number on the cover of this manual Assembly Instructions Note See page 8 for Parts Diagram 1 Attach the four Legs 4 to the stove Body Frame 1 using supplied screws flat washer and nuts 2 The Burners 2 are already assembled to the Body Frame 1 3 The Adjustable Screws 6 are already assembled on the Burner assembly It is used for adjusting the volume of air into each burner It can be adjusted to obtain the desired flame
