1.   Initial Set Up    Read the ENTIRE IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION section at the beginning of this  A manual including all text under subheadings therein before set up or use of  this product     Note  For additional information regarding the parts listed in the following  pages  refer to the Assembly Diagram near the end of this manual     Note  This air tool may be shipped with a protective plug covering  the air inlet  Remove this plug before set up     Air Supply Setup  AWARNING    TO PREVENT SERIOUS INJURY FROM EXPLOSION    Use only clean  dry  regulated  compressed air to power this tool  Do not use  oxygen  carbon dioxide  combustible gases  or any other bottled gas as a power  source for this tool     1  Incorporate a filter  regulator with pressure 3  Turn the tool   s throttle or switch to  gauge  in line shutoff valve  and quick coupler the off position  refer to Operation  for best service  as shown on Figure A on section for description of controls        page 8 and Figure B on page 9    An in line shutoff ball valve is an important  safety device because it controls the air  supply even if the air hose is ruptured  5   The shutoff valve should be a ball valve  because it can be closed quickly     4  Close the in line shutoff valve between  the compressor and the tool     Turn on the air compressor according to  the manufacturer s directions and allow it  to build up pressure until it cycles off     Note  If an automatic oiler system is not used  6   add a few dro
2.   at maximum pressure and sufficient airflow   then a larger tool may be required     Page 11    zZ  O     rs  Lu  a  fo        De  TA A  ET  0     General Operating Instructions  continued     9  Add additional wax to the Applicator Pad  as needed  To add additional wax     a  Release the Trigger and allow the  Polisher to come to a complete stop     b  Add a small amount of wax  evenly over the pad surface     c  Avoid using too much wax  For  additional applications of wax to Foam  Applicator Pad  reduce amount of wax   Foam Pad will not absorb as much  wax in subsequent applications     d  Resume operation     Note  The most common error when waxing   polishing a vehicle is applying too much wax    If the Foam Applicator Pad becomes saturated  with wax  applying wax will be more difficult and  will take longer  Applying too much wax may  also reduce life of the Pad  If the Foam Pad  continually comes off the Backing Pad during  use  too much wax may have been applied     10  After the wax has been applied to the  vehicle s surface  release the Trigger  and disconnect the air supply     11     12   13     14     15     16     17     Remove the Foam Applicator Pad from  the Backing Pad and with your hand and  the Foam Pad  apply wax to any hard to  reach areas of the vehicle such as around  lights  door handles  under bumpers  etc     Allow sufficient time for wax to dry     Place a clean Polishing Pad  securely onto the Backing Pad     Start the Polisher and begin  buffing

9. cle being waxed     CAUTION  Always start and stop the  Polisher while it is held firmly against the  work surface  Failure to do so may result  in the Foam Applicator Pad or Polishing  Pad being thrown from the Backing Pad     Item 60611    For technical questions  please call 1 800 444 3353     2  Grasp the Idler Gear Plate  27  with  the Wrench  32   Grasp Backing  Pad and unscrew from Polisher     3  Grasp Idler Gear Plate firmly with  Wrench and firmly screw new Backing  Pad into Idler Gear Plate     5  To start  position the unit on the area  to be polished  grip the Polisher firmly  with both hands and squeeze the  Trigger  The speed of the Polisher may  be varied by turning the Air Regulator     6  Allow the Polisher to spin up to full  speed  Keep pressure off of the Polisher  when operating  The Foam Pad should  LIGHTLY contact the polishing surface     7  Begin using the Polisher to apply wax  to the vehicle  Apply the wax to all flat  surfaces with broad  sweeping strokes  in a crisscross pattern  Apply the wax  evenly over the surface of the vehicle     8  If the tool requires more force to accomplish    the task  verify that the tool receives sufficient     unobstructed airflow  CFM  and increase the  pressure  PSI  output of the regulator up to  the maximum air pressure rating of this tool     CAUTION  TO PREVENT INJURY FROM  TOOL OR ACCESSORY FAILURE    Do not exceed the tool   s   maximum air pressure rating    If the tool still does not have sufficient force

16. orking     O  D  m  S      e   z       Figure C  Components and Controls    CENTRALPNEUMATIC    Page 10 For technical questions  please call 1 800 444 3353  Item 60611    Tool Set Up  AWARNING    TO PREVENT SERIOUS INJURY FROM ACCIDENTAL OPERATION   Turn off the tool  detach the air supply  safely discharge any residual air pressure in the tool   and release the trigger before performing any inspection  maintenance  or cleaning procedures     The Applicator Pads and Polishing Pad have  a hook and loop backing that affixes onto the  Backing Pad  31   To connect the Pads to  the Backing Pad  line up and center the Foam  on the Backing Pad  Press them together     Replacing the Backing Pad    1  Disconnect from air source before  replacing the Backing Pad  31      General Operating Instructions    1  If an automatic oiler is not used  add a few  drops of Pneumatic Tool Oil to the airline  connection before use  Add a few drops  more after each hour of continual use     2  Make sure the surface to be polished  has been thoroughly washed  and is  free of dust  dirt  oil  grease  etc     3  Place a clean Foam Applicator Pad  securely onto the Backing Pad     4  Apply about two tablespoons of wax   not included  evenly on the clean  Applicator Pad  The Applicator Pad  will absorb some of the wax used     do  not use excessive wax on the pad     NOTICE  Do not apply the wax directly  to the surface of the vehicle  The amount  of wax needed will vary according to the  size of the vehi
