1. Read the ENTIRE IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION section at the beginning of this manual including all text under subheadings therein before set up or use of this product Note For additional information regarding the parts listed in the following pages refer to the 4 Assembly Diagram near the end of this manual Location 5 1 Locate the panel where it will receive full unobstructed sunlight especially during midday Nearby trees or tall plants will drop debris requiring the panel to be cleaned more frequently 2 The installation location for panels charge controller regulator and batteries must be inaccessible to children to prevent electric shock Build a childproof enclosure if needed 3 Install the charge controller regulator and batteries in a weatherproof enclosure with proper ventilation 1 Mounting Note There are two ways to mount the Solar Panel The first is by using the 68687 Mounting Brackets to mount the Panel to a flat wall The second is by 2 using the 68698 Frame Bracket to mount the Panel to a roof or ground or to mount vertically to a wall Installing Mounting Brackets SKU 68687 1 Select a mounting location for the Solar Panel 3 Do not mount on outside of vehicle The solar panel should face the sun and not be blocked by shadows The location should allow the panel to be protected from accidental damage 2 The mounting location should be sturdy enough to support the weight of the So

9. lar Panel and any additional accessories Before drilling be sure there are no hidden wires or utility lines that may be damaged during installation 3 To mount Solar Panel s frame insert SKU 68687 Mounting Brackets not included into the mounting holes along the Panel s frame See Figure 2 above Page 4 For technical questions please call 1 800 444 3353 Mounting Unit t SKU 68687 Figure 2 Mounting Holes Make sure to rotate the Mounting Units outward so that the units surface mounting holes are visible See Figure 2 above WARNING Do NOT drill through the Solar Panel s frame You may damage the frame or break the glass Once all four Mounting Units are securely in place mount the Solar Panel to an appropriate mounting area using screws and nuts not included through the Mounting Units WARNING Verify mounting area is free of hidden wires or utility lines before installing Installing Frame Bracket SKU 68698 Select a mounting location for the Solar Panel The solar panel should face the Sun and not be blocked by shadows The location should allow the panel to be protected from accidental damage The mounting location should be sturdy enough to support the weight of the Solar Panel and the 68698 Mounting Bracket Before installing be sure there are no hidden wires or utility lines that may be dama
