12. www garmin com aboutGPS 4d Mounting on Your Dashboard NOTICE The permanent mounting adhesive 1s extremely difficult to remove after it 1s installed Use the enclosed mounting disk to mount your unit to the dashboard and comply with certain state regulations 1 Clean and dry the dashboard where you are placing the disk 2 Remove the backing from the adhesive on the bottom of the disk 3 Place the disk on the dashboard 4 Remove the clear plastic cover from the top of the disk 5 Place the suction cup mount on top of the disk Flip the lever down toward the disk Removing the zumo and Mounts To remove the z mo from the cradle on both the suction cup and motorcycle mounts press the button on the side of the cradle and tilt the z mo forward Place the weather cap on the motorcycle mount cradle To remove the cradle from the suction cup mount turn the cradle to the right or the left Apply pressure until the socket on the cradle releases the ball on the mount NOTE Reconnecting the cradle to the suction cup mount requires significant force Press the ball end firmly into the socket To remove the suction cup mount from the windshield flip the lever toward you Pull the tab on the suction cup toward you zumo 665 Owner s Manual Appendix Caring for Your z mo Your z mo contains sensitive electronic components that can be permanently damaged if exposed to excessive shock or vibration out
