1. press a language key Type up to two words cat To type a space press 5 To erase a letter press or P Press a language key to select a target lan guage Or press to translate the word into the most recently selected target language If needed use JL or 7 to select a desired form or phrase and press mra To see a word or phrase that does not fit on the screen press repeatedly Press to toggle between the source language and the target language Or press to go back to the previous screen 5 Translating Words 7 To translate the word into another target 8 language press one of the language keys Press when finished v Correcting Misspellings If you misspell a word in any language or if you enter a word that is not contained in this translator a list of corrections appears Use JL or 7 to scroll to a correctly spelled word and press ever w Follow the Arrows The flashing arrows on the right of the screen show which arrow keys you can press to move around the screen v Typing Special Characters You can type accent marks diacritical marks non English letters and capital letters but they are not needed to find matches Special characters can be typed by first typing the desired letter and then repeatedly pressing lt or JL until the desired character is displayed You also cannot type any punctuation marks Simply type the word without punctuation marks 6

Translating Phrases NOTE The phrases in this product will be listed in the current source language 1 Press prrs 2 Use I or 7 to scroll to a category 3 Press eve 4 Type a phrase or use JL or 7 to scroll to it Call me at To see a phrase that does not fit on the screen press c repeatedly 5 Press a language key to translate the phrase To see another translation press another lan guage key 6 Press when finished Finding Telephone Numbers You can find telephone numbers for airlines and airports around the world 1 Press menu 2 Press 2 repeatedly until Telephone Num ber appears 3 Press evra 4 Use JL or 4 until Airline or Airport appears and press ever 5 Start typing the airline or airport name or press 4 or 7 repeatedly until it appears on the screen You can also type the abbreviation for the air line or airport 6 Press mra 7 If you selected an airline in Step 4 above type the name of the city or country or press JL or 4 to scroll to it If needed press gt to view the country tele phone code in parentheses 8 Press to view the phone number 9 Press car when finished Calculator and Conversions To Use the Calculator 1 2 Press carc Use the numbered keys to type a number To type a decimal point press LL NOTE in this product a is used as a decimal indicator To erase a single digit press sack To clear t
