Fisher Price Cover n Play Bouncer Model Number 79619 Please keep this instruction sheet for future reference as it contains important information Adult assembly is required Tool required for assembly Phillips Screwdriver not included Requires one D LR20 alkaline battery not included Warning A WARNING To prevent serious injury and or falls e Never use on any elevated surface since child s movement may cause bouncer to slide or tip over e Never use as a carrier or lift while child is seated e Always use the restraint system e Never leave child unattended e Never use as a Car seat e Never use with a child able to sit up unassisted Parts Seat Back Tube Retainer Right Base Wire 8 x 3 s Screw 2 AON Shown Actual Size Left Base Wire Battery Installation 1 5V D LR20 at SHOWN ACTUAL SIZE Battery Compartment Door e Locate the soothing unit on the footrest Insert a coin into the battery compartment door and pry the battery compartment door off e Insert one D LR20 alkaline battery as indicated inside the battery compartment Be sure to place the battery on top of the ribbon e Replace the battery compartment door and be sure it snaps securely closed Hints e We recommend the use of an alkaline battery for longest battery life e For easy battery removal simply lift the ribbon Battery Tips e Remove the

While flexing the base wires toward Colored Tab each other hook the footrest onto the ends of the base wires Back View Push the footrest down completely to the tabs on the base wires Make sure the colored tabs on the left and right base wires are visible through the base tube holes see inset If the colored tabs are not visible through the base tube holes you have assembled the base incorrectly Disassemble all parts and refer back to Assembly Step 1 Assembly Base Wire Seat Back Tube Base Wire Position the seat back tube above the base assembly Fit the seat back tube completely onto the base wires Assembly Retainer Socket Retainer Socket Up Fit a retainer to the outside of the seat back tube as shown Make sure the socket in the retainer is upright Insert a screw through the hole in the seat back tube base wire and into the inside of the retainer Tighten the screw with a Phillips screwdriver Do not over tighten e Repeat this procedure to assemble the other retainer to the other side of the seat back tube Pull up on the seat back tube to be sure it is secure If you can remove either end of the seat back tube you have not assembled the retainers correctly Remove the screws re read and repeat Assembly steps 3 and 4 Assembly Pad Footrest Soothing Unit Tube e Position the pad above the frame with the blanket toward the soothing unit Fit the upp
4. battery during long periods of non use Always remove an exhausted battery from the product Battery leakage and corrosion can damage the product Dispose of the battery safely Do not dispose of the battery in a fire The battery may explode or leak e Never short circuit the battery terminals Anon rechargeable battery is not to be recharged Only a battery of the same or equivalent type as recommended in the Battery Installation instructions is to be used If a removable rechargeable battery is used it is only to be charged under adult supervision A rechargeable battery is to be removed from the product before it is charged e If you use a battery charger it should be examined regularly for damage to the cord plug enclosure and other parts Do not use a damaged battery charger until it has been properly repaired 4 Assembly A CAUTION This package contains small parts in its unassembled state Adult assembly is required Right Base Wire Colored Tabs Left Base Wire e Place the base tube on a flat surface as shown Position the left and right base wires as shown Note the location of the colored tabs on the left and right base wires Fit the left base wire into the base tube Fit the right base wire into the base tube Assembly Footrest with Soothing Unit Flex Base Wires Inward Base Tube Base Wire e Position the footrest so that the soothing unit is upright e
5. er pocket on the back of the pad onto the seat back tube Lift the footrest Fit the lower pocket on the back of the pad onto the footrest Lower the footrest Attach the pad fastener to the fastener on the soothing unit Assembly Retainer TA n Socket Retainer Socket fh me Fit the toy bar plugs into each retainer socket Unfasten a strap on the toy bar e Wrap the strap around a toy ring and re fasten the strap Repeat this procedure to attach the other two toys to the toy bar The toy bar is removable Simply pull to remove 10 Set Up amp Use A WARNING To prevent serious injury and or falls e Never use on any elevated surface since child s movement may cause bouncer to slide or tip over e Never use as a Carrier or lift while child is seated e Always use the restraint system e Never leave child unattended e Never use with a child able to sit up unassisted Belt Restraint Securing Your Child If the toy bar is attached remove it before placing your child in the seat e Place your child in the seat Position the restraint between your child s legs Fasten both belts to the buckles on each side of the restraint Make sure you hear a click on both sides Check to be sure the restraint is securely attached by pulling it away from your child The restraint should remain attached e Attach the toy bar if desired see Assembly Step 6 11 Set u
6. p amp Use Buckle Anchored End Buckle Anchored End Free End Free End Tighten To tighten the restraint Feed the anchored end of the belt up through the buckle to form a loop Q Pull the free end of the belt e Repeat this procedure to tighten the other belt To loosen the restraint Feed the free end of the belt up through the buckle to forma loop Enlarge the loop by pulling on the end of the loop toward the buckle e Pull the anchored end of the belt to shorten the free end of the belt e Repeat this procedure to loosen the other belt Please Note After adjusting the belts to fit your child make sure you pull on the restraint to be sure it is securely fastened Calming Vibrations e Make sure your child is properly secured in the seat To turn vibrations on slide the power switch on the soothing unit to the on position To turn vibrations off slide the power switch on the soothing unit to the off position O IMPORTANT If vibrations from the soothing unit become faint or if there are no vibrations remove the battery from the soothing unit and dispose of it properly Replace the battery with a new D LR20 alkaline battery 12 Set up amp Use Blanket e Fold blanket up on baby s lap Storing the Blanket Pull the blanket down completely Fold the blanket under the footrest wire e Tuck the blanket into the pocket on the underside of the pad
