5. wo 19 ww Css imac s 60 fe Terns izac 5 oo soo exs imss a oo 5 soo Do not install the EVENAIR where the air temperature within the duct exceeds rated temperature Page 2 DUCT JOINT CUT INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS a Locate the EVENAIR in the duct pipe near the problem area Allow adequate space for the removal of the unit for servicing or annual inspection FLOW a For METAL Duct PIPE 1 1 Separate the duct at a joint near the problem area and cut 6 3 4 off the end of the duct pipe See Figure 1 a 675 ml 2 An alternative method is to cut a 5 3 4 section out of the Figure 1 duct pipe See Figure 2 Then crimp the end of the duct CUT pipe with at least 1 crimp See Figure 3 AR 3 Install the EVENAIR unit with the crimped end pointing toward the problem area FLOW 3 N See Figure 3 Secure the unit with sheet metal screws and seal joints with duct tape O X Support the unit with an acceptable hanging method 4 Complete this step for KS 5 KS 6 8 KS 8 ONLY Remove center knockout from the a 5 314 a outlet box bottom See Figure 3A Before installing the EVENAIR into the duct pipe Figure 2 fasten the outlet box onto the unit housing with the 10 32 UNF screws and nuts provided See Figure 3B AT LEAST FOR FLEXIBLE DUCT 1 INCH 1 Cut and separate the flexible duct Fold back the outer insulation on t
