3. e GAIN CONTROL This control sets the gain of the SCG Channel to adjust the amount of overdrive This control works in conjunction with the Volume control 7 3 4 SHAPE SWITCH This switch selects the tone of the SCG Channel The Out position gives a sound with mid frequency emphasis and the In position gives a highly textured sound with emphasis on highs and lows LEVEL CONTROL This control sets the overall level in the SCG Channel SCG CHANNEL SELECT SWITCH The G20C XL EJ SCG Channel Is the maximum gain channel and Is typically used for an overdriven sound It Is selected by Pushing this switch In In this posl tlon all gain and tone controls are ac tive The Out position selects the lower gain normal channel It should be used for the cleanest sound 6 FOOTSWITCH JACK This Jack Is to be used with the Channel Selector Reverb footswitch When this is used the SCG Channel Select switch 5 Is Inactive 7 VOLUME CONTROL This control sets the overall level of the normal chan nel It must also not be at zero for the SCG Channel to function 8 HIGH CONTROL TREBLE This knob affects the upper harmonic range of the guitar clockwise higher set tings Increase the crispness or bite of the sound 9 MID CONTROL The amount of mid range tone is set using this control Low settings can thin out the sound while higher settings can give a fat t
4. er sound This control is especially useful while using the SCG channel 10 LOW CONTROL BASS The amount of bottom or warmth may be in creased or decreased with this knob 11 REVERB CONTROL This control al lows the player to alter the apparent acoustical qualities of a room The sound can be adjusted from very flat or dry to that of a concert hall 12 CHORUS SWITCH The preset stereo chorus is selected by pushing this switch to the In position 13 LINE OUT JACKS These are unbal anced line outputs which may be used to link the G20CXL 200CXL to addi tional amplifiers or to a tape recorder 14 HEADPHONES JACK Standard stereo headphones may be plugged into this jack Doing so disconnects the speakers allowing private listening A mono mix of the stereo signal is heard in the headphones 15 POWER LED INDICATOR When the amplifier is on this LED is lit 16 POWER SWITCH Pressing the right side of the switch turns the unit on and the left side turns the unit off POWER CORD Your G20CXL 200CXL is equipped with a heavy duty grounded three wire power cord Be sure this cord is properly plugged into a safely wired grounded 120 volt 60 hz AC power outlet before use If your G20CXL 200CXL was purchased out side the United States refer to the rear panel for power ratings For your safety never attempt to defeat the ground connection on this cord SPEAKER JACKS not shown G
