Operating Instructions l _ O po GA Check if the heating plates are clean and dust free If necessary wipe them with damp cloth Uncoil the cable completely Place the appliance on a flat level surface and slide the locking clip open Open the appliance and place your sandwich on the lower plate Always place th sandwich toward the rear end of the plate Close the upper plate and lock it with the height control The heating plates mu be in a closed position before connecting with supplier mains Insert the plug into a mains socket The red operating lamp is on Allow green lamp on and off during operation Depending on the thickness of your sandwich takes approx 5 8 minutes After toasting open the upper plate and lock it with the height control Remo your sandwich with a wooden or plastic spatula 10 After using pull out the plug Open the upper lid and let it get cool Cleaning Instructions L Be aware that parts of the appliance become very hot during operation Make su that the appliance is switched off unplugged and sufficiently cooled down befo cleaning or storage Wipe the heating plates with a soft damp cloth If this fails to remove all residue soften them with a little oil Do not use any spray on metal objects as they would damage the non stic coating Continenta z l e C t r INSTRUCTION MANUAL MODEL CM43505 C IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS Read this instruction manual very carefully before
