The motor unit has lost power and is operating olf of the battery e A solid LED with beep sounding approximately every 2 seconds indicates the motor unit is activating the door and is operating off of the battery A flashing LED with beep sounding every 30 seconds indicates battery is low Once the power is restored the battery will recharge This is indicated by a flashing green LED RED LED If a red LED remains on when the power is restored and is accompanied by a beep sounding every 30 seconds please call for service To obtain maximum battery life and preveni damage also disconnect the battery if you unplug the motor unit while on vacation or any other extended period of time Having a Problem Troubleshooting 1 My door will not close and the light bulbs blink on my motor unit The safety reversing sensor must be connected and aligned correctly before the garage door opener will move in the down direction e Verify the safety reversing sensors are properly installed aligned and free of any obstructions Refer to installation Step 11 Install The Protector Systenf e Check diagnostic LED for flashes on the motor unit then refer to the Diagnostic Chart on the following page 3 f 1 __ Bell Wire LS Diagnostics Localed On Motor Unit 2 My remotes will not activate the door e Verify your Motion Detecting Contro Console is not Pi 3 Diagnostic blinki
6. conditions when the opener is initially plugged in when power is restored after interruption when the opener is activated They will turn off automatically after 4 1 2 minutes or provide constant fight when the Light feature on the Control Console is activated Buib size is 100 watts maximum Security light feature Lights will also turn on when someone walks through the open garage door With a Motion Detecting Door Control Console this feature may be turned off as follows With the opener lights off press and hold the light button for 10 seconds until the light goes on then off again To restore this feature start with the opener lights on then press and hold the light button for 10 seconds until the light goes off then on again Using the Wall Mounted Door Control THE MOTION DETECTING CONTROL CONSOLE Press the push bar to open or close the door Press again to reverse the door during the closing cycle or to stop the door while its opening This door conirol contains a motion detector that will automatically turn on the light when it detects a person entering the garage This feature can be easily turned off for extended work light use Light feature Press the Light button to turn the opener light on or off H will not control the opener lights when the door is in motion If you turn it on and then activate the opener the light will remain on for 4 1 2 minutes Press again to turn it off sooner The 4 1 2 min
7. e Replace battery cover Baltery Cover Battery INSTALLATION STEP 8 SAUTION install the Lights To prevent possible OVERHEATING of the endpanel or light socket DO NOT use short neck or specialty light bulbs Press the release tabs on both sides of lens Gently rotate lens back and downward until the lens hinge is in the fully open position Do not remove the lens DO NOT use halogen bulbs Use ONLY incandescent Install a 100 watt maximum light bulb in each socket To prevent damage to the opener Light bulb size should be A19 standard neck only The DO NOT use bulbs larger than 100W lights will turn ON and remain lit for approximately ONLY use A19 size bulbs 4 1 2 minutes when power is connected Then the lights will turn OFF 00 Watt M Reverse the procedure to close the lens Standard Ut BZ Use A19 standard neck garage door opener bulbs for j repacement Release Tab NOTE Use only standard light bulbs The use of short neck or speciality light bulbs may overheat the endpanel or light socket Lens 100 Walt Max Hinge Standard Light Bulb 18 STATE HT TIRANNIA r PA NDE PIF EPA TARA RAT PALOS MORTA NAT il uc ITER nha eA i hanain PR A MORI Putin Attach the Emergency Release Rope and Handle Thread one end of the rope ihrough the hole in the top of the red handle so NOTICE reads right side up as shown Secure with an overhand knot at least 1 2 5 cm f
8. hole on the back end of the rail as shown Tighten securely with a 1 4 20 lock nul Do not overtighten Remove the two bolts from the top of the motor unit Place the U bracket flat side down on the motor unit and align the bracket holes with the bolt holes Fasten with the previously removed bolts Align the rail assembly with the top of the motor unit Slide the rail end onto the U bracket all the way to the stops that protrude on the top and sides of the bracket HARDWARE SHOWN ACTUAL SIZE Bolt 1 4 20x 1 3 4 install the Idler Pulley Lay the belt beside the rail as shown Grasp the end with the hooked trolley connector and pass approximately 12 30 cm of belt through the window Keep the ribbed side toward the rail and allow il to hang until Assembly Step 5 Remove the tape from the idler pulley The inside center shouid be pre greased l dry regrease to ensure proper operation Place the idler pulley into the window as shown insert the idler bolt from the top through the rail and pulley Tighten with a 3 8 lock washer and nut underneath the rail until the lock washer is compressed Rotate the pulley fo be sure if spins freely insert a 1 4 20x1 3 4 bolt into the trolley stop hole in the front of the rail as shown Tighten securely with a 1 4 20 lock nut 3 8 To avoid SERIOUS damage to garage door opener use ONLY those bolts fasteners mounted in the top of the opener Motor Un

A 2x4 laid flat is convenient for setting an ideal door to rail distance Remove foam packaging e Raise the opener onto a stepladder You will need help at this point if the ladder is not tall enough e Open the door all the way and place a 2x4 laid flat on the top section beneath the rail e if the top section or panel hits the trolley when you raise the door pull down on the trolley release arm to disconnect inner and outer sections Slide the outer trolley toward the motor unit The trolley can remain disconnected until Installation Step 12 is completed Trolley Release Arm ENGAGED RELEASED ONE PIECE DOOR WITHOUT TRACK A 2x4 on its side is convenient for setting an ideal door to rail distance Remove foam packaging e Raise the opener onto a stepladder You will need help at this point if the iadder is not tall enough e Open the door all the way and place a 2x4 on its side on the top section of the door beneath the rail The top of the door should be level with the top of the motor unit Do not position the opener more than 4 10 cm above this point 15 Header Brackel IS SER rail on 2x4 placed on top section of door 2x4 is used lo determine the correct mounting height fram ceiling 2x4 is used to determine the correct mounting height from ceiling TEE TAT ee e is Hang the Opener Three representative installations are shown Yours may be different Hang
