1. Your garage door opener is programmed with self diagnostic capabilities The Learn button diagnostic LED will flash a number of times then pause signifying it has found a potential issue Consult Diagnostic Chart below Safety Sensor Diagnostic Chart Symptom One or both of the Indicator lights on the safety sensors do not glow steady Safety sensors wire open e Inspect sensor wires for a short staple in wire correct wiring polarity broken or disconnected black white wires reversed broken or disconnected wires replace attach OR as needed e Disconnect all wires from back of motor unit 2FLASHES e Remove sensors from brackets and shorten sensor wires to 1 2 ft 30 60 cm from back each of sensor Safety sensors wire e Reattach sending eye to motor unit using shortened wires If sending eye shorted or black white indicator light glows steadily attach the receiving eye wire reversed e Align sensors if the indicator lights glow replace the wires for the sensors If the sensor indicator lights do not light replace the safety sensors 3 FLASHES pera g Symptom LED is not lit on door control e Inspect door control wires for a short staple in wire replace as needed Door control or f e Disconnect wires at door control touch wires together If motor unit activates wire shorted replace door control e If motor unit does not activate disconne

KEEP LARGER HOLE ON TOP FRONT RAIL Screwdriver JEE Window Cut Out CAUTION To prevent INJURY from pinching keep hands and fingers away from the joints while assembling the rail 3 Place the motor unit on packing material to protect the cover and rest the back end of the rail on top For convenience put a support under the front end of the rail 4 As a temporary stop insert a screwdriver into the hole 10 25 cm from the front end of the rail as shown 5 Check to be sure there are 4 plastic wear pads inside the inner trolley If they became loose during shipping check all packing material Snap them back into position as shown 6 Slide the trolley assembly along the rail from the back end to the screwdriver Wear Pads ASSEMBLY STEP 2 CAUTION Fasten the Rail to the Motor Unit To avoid SERIOUS damage to garage door opener use ONLY those bolts fasteners mounted in the top of the opener Insert a 1 4 20x1 3 4 bolt into the cover protection bolt hole on the back end of the rail as shown Tighten securely with a 1 4 20 lock nut Do NOT overtighten Motor Unit Remove the two bolts from the top of the motor Sprocket unit Place the U bracket flat side down on the motor unit and align the bracket holes with the bolt holes Fasten with the previously removed bolts Align the rail assembly with the top of the motor unit Slide the rail end onto the U bracket all the way

62. systems are normal e A solid LED light indicates the batteries are fully charged e A flashing LED indicates the batteries are being charged NOTE Batteries do not have to be fully charged to operate the motor unit YELLOW LED The motor unit has lost power and is operating off of the BBU e A solid LED with beep sounding approximately every 2 seconds indicates the motor unit is activating the door and is operating off of the BBU e A flashing LED with beep sounding every 30 seconds indicates batteries are low e Once the power is restored the BBU will recharge This is indicated by a flashing green LED RED LED An error has been detected and the BBU will automatically shut off The BBU will attempt to restart by reconnecting to the batteries If the error is still present it will shut itself off again This process will repeat every 5 minutes or until the error has been resolved This is used to prevent further draining of the batteries e If ared LED remains on when the power is restored and is accompanied by a beep sounding every 30 seconds please call for service CARE OF YOUR OPENER MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE Once a Month e Manually operate door If it is unbalanced or binding call a trained door systems technician e Check to be sure door opens amp closes fully Adjust limits if necessary See page 27 e Repeat the safety reverse test Make any necessary adjustments See Adjustment Step 3 Onc
