TechnicalBulletin Bulletin No PRO 03 08 Effective Date 11 24 76 Cancels N A Page 1 of 1 Subject DD 3 DIAPHRAGM SEPARATOR ASSEMBLY G M C BUSES G M C 121 buses utilize a dual circuit braking system which features a unique demonstrated park parking brake system The DD 3 Actuators used in this system require a special service diaphragm separator assembly in which the diaphragm is riveted to the separator This special diaphragm separator assembly is available either separately as piece number 288729 or in Kit No 265070 which consists of 288729 diaphragm separator assembly and 246675 auxiliary diaphragm DD 3 Actuators on vehicles other than 121 GMC buses can be serviced with 246371 service diaphragm 246363 separator and 246675 auxiliary diaphragm or with kit 265064 which contains all three parts Even though some earlier 121 GMC buses did not use the riveted diaphragm separator all 121 GMC actuators should be serviced with the riveted diaphragm separator assembly
