Technical Bulletin Bulletin No PRO 01 17 Effective Date 4 1 80 Cancels NA Page 1 of 1 subject TU FLO 501 DETROIT DIESEL ENGINES W DELCO OIL COOLED ALTERNATORS This is to advise that on the Detroit Diesel 6V or 8V engines where a Delco oil cooled alternator is used only a TuFlo 501 flange mounted compressor will fit No other Bendix or Midland compressor will fit these engines when the Delco oil cooled alternator is installed When the Leece Neville alternator is used on the 6V and 8V DDAD engines only the 52 tilt TuFlo 700 Compressor O E piece Nos 101635 101545 and 101651 exchange piece Nos 101554 101636 will fit Presently DDAD does not furnish the Delco oil cooled alternator on engines They are installed by the vehicle manufacturer
