Technical Bulletin Bulletin No PRO 01 13 Effective Date 7 15 78 Page 1 of 1 Subject Tu Flo 501 Crankshaft 246464 The subject crankshaft is used in Detroit Diesel compressors The crankshaft nut on these compressors should be carefully torqued to avoid loosening of the coupling however care should be taken to avoid over torquing The castellated nut should be torqued by hand to 100 ft Ibs If it is not possible to line up the cotter pin holes without exceeding 150 ft Ibs the nut should be removed and another nut used
