4. ndset cord that has the longer straight section into the handset jack on the back of the phone Route the straight section of the handset cord through the cord guide on the back of the set Attach the other end of the handset cord to the handset Step 3 Attach the front edge of the stand by aligning the two clips on the bottom of the phone with the matching pivot points on the stand as shown in the picture of the back of the phone Once these front edge tabs are inserted you can press the phone and stand together to snap the stand into the other two pivot points in the mid section of the phone The IP Phone 2001 includes a superior display to present information to the user making it very easy to use The four soft label keys guide users through feature use as supported on any of Nortel Networks communication systems For feature descriptions and provisioning information regarding the use of your IP Phone 2001 on a specific Nortel Networks communication system refer to the documentation provided with the system including the IP Phone 2001 User Guide Step 4 Connect one end of the Cat 5e Ethernet cable to the Ethernet Port on the back of the phone and connect the other end to a Local Area Network LAN wall outlet Route the LAN cable through the cord guide on the stand If the phone is on a LAN powered enabled network follow the prompts that appear on the screen Your system administrator should provide you with correct info
